Alabama State Rep. John Rogers (D) has told WVTM13 that Donald Trump Jr is “proof that mothers ought to have the right to have an abortion because he is evidently retarded or crazy.”

Rogers’ remarks come after Trump Jr condemned the state representative for saying, “Some kids are unwanted, so you kill them now or you kill them later. You bring them in the world unwanted, unloved, you send them to the electric chair. So, you kill them now or you kill them later.”

“This is stomach curling and makes Ralph Northam look like a moderate on abortion,” Trump Jr tweeted in response. “Every Democrat running for President needs to be asked where they stand on this. The extreme turn we’ve seen from Dems on abortion recently is truly sickening.”

Rogers later defended his comments calling it an “honor” to be criticized by Trump Jr.

“That’s an honor. Thank God. Right on. Him being born is the very good defense that I have for abortion. His mother should’ve aborted him when he was born, and then he wouldn’t have made that stupid statement.

“He’s retarded or crazy, Donald Trump’s son. I knew he was crazy. The best defense I’ve got for abortion right there, looking at him,” he added.
