Indeed, when a Christian’s best testimony to his neighbors is found in waiting patiently for governing officials to permit churches to gather again, thus denying Christ’s command to gather, we have a new instance of Corban—replacing the law of God with human traditions.

At a time when insanity seemingly reigns supreme, it would be wise for us all to back sensible public voices. Especially when the consequences of dissenting from the accepted narrative can pose a serious threat to the livelihood, and sometimes even the life, of those taking a stand for truth. African-American actor Terry Crews has doubled-down on his “common” sense approach to the Black Lives Matter movement, after receiving backlash for warning against black supremacy. On Saturday, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star tweeted: “Are all white people bad? No. Are all black people good? No. Knowing this reality- I stand on…

Eric Abetz (LNP) is proving to be no mediocre politician. His speech from July last year remains relevant, making it one of the best ever entered into the Australian senate’s Hansard.[i] This year the Senator for Tasmania provided us with a sequel. Speaking about ‘Political Discourse’ Abetz went head to head with cancel culture and the Left’s double standards. The speech highlighted Queensland University Law professor, James Allen’s piece for The Australian on the June, 16. He gave a long list of examples where people were being bullied into submission, and their livelihoods cancelled because of a small, boisterous percentage…

Whether you agree or disagree with Israel Folau, the serious lack in Australia’s intellectual and emotional capacity to engage with deep theological concepts, as are found in Israel’s controversial November sermon, is in itself a judgement on how far we’ve let educational standards fall in this country. As Editor in Chief, Ben Davis, said on Monday, “with all of the criticism he’s copped, most of which is pure emotional vomit, so few seem capable of interacting with Folau’s comments in any meaningful way.” You’ve all probably heard the mainstream media’s butchered to death, paraphrased version. Here’s the original. All 12…

A transgender activist who filed complaints against several female beauticians after they refused to wax his male genitals has lost his court case, according to a decision released on Tuesday. In 2018 Jonathan Yaniv, now known as Jessica, filed multiple complaints with the Human Rights Council in British Columbia accusing numerous estheticians of denying him service based on his gender identity. Yaniv also accused the women of “forcing their beliefs on society” by using their “religion and culture” to refuse service to “protected groups.” However, in a rare display of common sense, the BC Human Rights Tribunal ruled in favour…

“All sides are anti-science.” I’m watching psychologist professors Jonathon Haidt and Jordan Peterson on YouTube discussing polarisation and the left-ward bias of our Universities. Haidt says that an anti-science trend emerged among conservatives in relatively recent times. “To be anti-evolutionary… is actually what’s happening on the left now, too,” Peterson adds. His prediction is that having taken the humanities, those leftist ‘neo-Marxists’ will be targeting the biology school next. He quotes Brett Weinstein, “evolutionary biology has something in it to offend everyone.” It was a unique experience for me as I read A. N. Wilson’s (2017) biography of Charles Darwin,…

A Melbourne TAFE has suspended a number of teachers for sharing an ‘Islamophobic’ quote that left a Muslim student feeling “disempowered.” The offending quote appeared on a lecture slide from a subject on diversity and was taken from American conservative author Brigitte Gabriel, who had suggested that while “most Muslims are peaceful”, up to “300-million people are radicals who want to destroy and murder us.” Ms Gabriel was raised in Lebanon until, at the age of ten, radical Islamists blew up her house, burying her under the burning rubble. Miraculously, Ms Gabriel survived the attack but spent the next two-and-a-half…

Will Witt of PragerU recently hit the streets of Echo Park, Los Angeles to ask folks if babies in a womb (unborn humans) should have the same rights and protections as eagle eggs (unborn eagles). While bald eagle eggs are protected under federal law, there are no federal laws protecting children from abortion. As you might expect, the people quick to defend the rights of unborn eagles, were even quicker to deny those same rights to unborn humans. Responses to the petition included: “Babies are gross,” “Eagles aren’t raped,” and “A human woman should have more rights (i.e. to kill…
