A Melbourne University has reportedly offered students full marks for attending today’s climate change rally.

9 News Melbourne confirmed that a class of students at RMIT University were told to attend the rally and take a selfie if they wanted full marks on an assessment.

Reporter Sam Cucchiara tweeted: “BREAKING: @9NewsMelb has confirmed a class of @RMIT students were offered full marks on an assessment if they attended today’s climate change rally and took a selfie.”

Meanwhile, to the surprise of absolutely no one, The Daily Mail reported that school students attending the rally admitted they don’t care about climate change, they just wanted a day off school.

It’s funny how these protests don’t happen during school holidays or weekends. Or as Paul Zanetti summed it up this morning:
