A female athlete filed a complaint with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights this month after she was forced to compete in a track event against two biological males who identify as women.
Selina Soule, a 16-year-old from Bloomfield, Connecticut, failed to qualify for the 55-meter event in the New England regionals after the biological males scored the two qualifying places.
In an interview with The Daily Signal, Selina admitted, competing against transgender athletes is ‘heartbreaking’ for biological girls who know at the beginning of the race that no matter how hard they try, the biological male athletes will win.
“Eventually it’s going to get to the point where the biological females will be on the sidelines, watching their own sports,” Selina went on to say.
