Executive chairman of the Ayn Rand Institute, Yaron Brook explains how Capitalism cures poverty. “I care about the poor, and the only system in human history, the only system in human history to help the poor, to help ambitious poor people raise over poverty and become rich has been capitalism.” Watch:

On Saturday Rep. Maxine Waters called on her supporters at a rally to harass Trump’s Cabinet officials in protest to the administrations policies. “If you see anybody from the Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters said. Waters’ comments come after Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was booted from a restaurant in Virginia. Sanders wrote on Twitter, “Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to…

At least 100 foreign fighters who joined terror groups in the Middle East are expected to soon return to Australia, and most likely, Sydney. But why? Why bring them here at all? To quote Senator Cory Bernardi, “We’ve got enough Islamic nutcases at work in this country already.” Watch:

Canada’s Supreme Court has told a Christian law school they should abandon biblical values if they want accreditation. The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 against Trinity Western University’s (TWU) Law School, after LGBT activists argued the Law School’s Christian values discriminate against LGBT students. “In a pair of 7-2 rulings, the majority of justices found the law societies of British Columbia and Ontario have the power to refuse accreditation based on Trinity Western University’s so-called community covenant,” which requires: …that all students and faculty pursue a holy life ‘characterized by humility, self-sacrifice, mercy and justice, and mutual submission for the good…

During a TEDx Talk, Mirjam Heine from University of Würzburg claimed “pedophilia is a natural sexual orientation, just like heterosexuality.” “According to current research, pedophilia is an unchangeable sexual orientation,” Heine argued. “Just like, for example, heterosexuality. No one chooses to be a pedophile. No one can cease being one.” “The difference between pedophilia and other sexual orientations is that, living out this sexual orientation will end in a disaster… It is our responsibility to over come our negative feelings about pedophiles. And to treat them with the same respect we treat other people with.” “We should accept that pedophiles are…

An advertisement recently released by Huggies nappies features a baby boy and his two lesbian mothers. Noticeably absent from the scene is the child’s father. But why should that matter? The baby has two mothers, and one with a fairly masculine haircut, so what’s the issue? What LGBTQ propaganda continues to imply is the superfluous nature of fathers and their replaceable role. There is nothing inherent or unique to being a father. There is nothing a father brings to the rearing of a child that a second mother couldn’t imitate. There was always going to be a knock-on effect. You…

Our Facebook Overlords are scraping the bottom of the barrel to silence conservative voices and this is yet another absolutely ridiculous example. Yesterday Victoria Against Violence posted a video to their Facebook page titled, Respect Women: Call It Out (Public Transport). The video shows a fairly well-groomed man looking over at a woman and smiling while travelling on a bus. When another commuter notices, he stands between the man and the woman, breaking the line of sight. The man looks away as the words, “Respect Women; Call it Out” appear on the screen. After being tagged in the post by a…

Katie Hopkins has clashed with an RT reporter over Muslim immigration. Hopkins asked Oksana Boyko, host of World Apart RT, “if Islam is so fantastic, why do Muslims always flee to Christian countries?” “Why not go to Saudi?” Hopkins added. “Why not go to another country where the Muslim faith is practised?” WATCH:

Jeff Durbin from Apologia Studios explains, “Legislators have to legislate based on issues of justice, morality, and if a woman who has an abortion is ultimately a victim, as much a victim as the baby – as some people say in the Pro-Life movement – then she’s not guilty of a crime. And if it’s not a crime, it doesn’t need to be criminalized.” Watch:

During his acceptance speech at the MTV Movie Awards, Chris Pratt urged young people to trust God, learn to pray, and accept grace. OK, it wasn’t a perfect speech, and his theology isn’t great, but what a contrast to De Niro and basically the rest of Hollywood… Watch:

Selling off the ABC is not a new idea, but it’s increasing in popularity. Dr Chris Berg recently told Michael McLaren on 4BC, “In our analysis, it just doesn’t hold up anymore. Having a public broadcaster doesn’t make sense in a modern era.” “The idea that we have to pay for biased journalism is a really big problem. I think that is what really offends people.” Listen:

In 2014, I got great pleasure from watching Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, the celebrated sci-fi led by Matthew McConaughey. Inspired by my father, I had read Arthur C. Clarke and H. G. Wells in my youth, and to me, Interstellar was a return to the purest sci-fi. It really understood the modernist spirit. Star-wars scarcely rates as the same genre, being much more of a fairy-tale, really (a long time ago, in a land far away, a young princess got kidnapped, by a nasty wizard…). Unlike fantasy fiction, in which power is super-natural and has some basis in past history, a…

UK Prime Minister Theresa May believes British Muslims are peaceful, law abiding citizens who are the victims of far-right terrorism. While “acts of terror” have been carried out in the name of Islam, “it is not in the name of Islam,” May insists. “British Muslims are peaceful and law abiding people who have themselves been the victims of acts of terror by the far-right. There are those who conduct acts of terror in the name of Islam, but it is not in the name of Islam.” Watch:

Europe is committing suicide. How did this happen? In the video below, Douglas Murray, author of The Strange Death of Europe, explains. [There is] a feeling among the elite class that the European story has played out: that we have tried religion and all imaginable forms of politics, and that each has, one after another led us to disaster. We taint every idea we touch, so who’s to say that the world wouldn’t be better off without us? Of course, only people who have no idea how lucky they are could take this view. Watch:

When a polyamorous throuple in Canada found the law only allowed for two individuals to be named as parents on a child’s birth certificate, they took their case to the courts and won. Justice Robert Fowler of Newfoundland and Labrador Supreme Court ruled in favour of the throuple, which consists of two men and a woman (the child’s biological mother). “Society is continuously changing and family structures are changing along with it,” Fowler said. “This must be recognized as a reality and not as a detriment to the best interests of the child.” Fowler went on to say, “I have no…

ABC employees are five times more likely to be greens voters than the general population, according to RMIT Professor Sinclair Davidson. Professor Davidson told Sky News, “we’re not talking center-left here. We’re actually talking very hard left-wing views here.” “To be quite honest, the hard left view the rest of us with contempt. I mean, they genuinely can’t tell the difference between mass murderers in Scandinavia and News Ltd journalists. They genuinely think they’re of the same sort of thing.” “Why do we as taxpayers hand over $1 billion year after year to fund a government program not fit for…

Do they deserve it? Australian NBN executives and staff were reportedly paid $66 million in bonuses, despite thousands of complaints for poor service and slow internet speeds. In April the Telecommunications ombudsman report showed there were 22,827 complaints from July to December 2017. That’s close to a 203.9 per cent increase compared to the same period the previous year. Last week it was revealed one third of NBN users surveyed regret their “upgrade.” The survey of 958 Australians showed, if given the option, 34 per cent would go back to their previous setup. Where does atheistic driven science lead? Maybe you don’t want to know. I fear the model in this image will haunt me in my dreams. No, it’s not the next installment of Avatar… or Lord of the Rings… or Alien… It’s apparently the “perfect” human body according to an evolutionary biologist in the UK. Borrowing from the animal kingdom, Professor Alice Roberts took characteristics that would make the perfect superhuman. “Inspired by dogs, cats, cephalopods, fish, swans and chimps, my model has a better heart with more arteries than a human being, lungs that are more efficient, eyes with no…
