Michael Kroger has blasted Bill Shorten after the Labor leader suggested too many indigenous children are being taken away from their families.
“The last thing they need is some know-it-all whitefellas to come in paternalistic, as has been happening for 200 years, and saying, ‘listen you’re just children and we’ll just fix it all for you,’” Shorten said.
Kroger told Sky News, “This was a disgraceful performance by Shorten, and I might say, the low point of his leadership. The absolute low point of his leadership. This guy is a prisoner to political correctness and he is a danger to this country.”
