Not Satire: America’s mayors this week backed a national call for reparations to black people, a program that could cost taxpayers $6.2 quadrillion. The U.S. Conference of Mayors released a letter Monday backing a Democratic plan to form a reparations commission to come up with a payment for slavery. The Washington Examiner reported that the issue of repatriations had been raised afresh in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. The report said: “Long at the centre of the debate has been the potential price tag of paying slavery descendants, for which studies broadly include most or all of the…

I’m amazed at how some news items disappear as quickly as they arrive – and it’s rarely by accident. If you coughed you may have missed the news last month that three Brits had been stabbed to death in broad daylight by a Libyan refugee yelling “Allahu Akbar”. It later emerged that the dead, killed as they socialised in a Reading park, were all homosexuals. CNN tweeted: “A UK stabbing incident that left three people dead and several injured is declared a terrorist incident by police.” UK stabbing incident. Kind of like that New York jet plane incident back in…

Police in the UK have launched a probe after “unacceptable” posters with the phrase “It’s Okay To Be White” were spotted at a shopping centre in Nailsea, Somerset. According to BBC News, Shane Jones, a local, was left “shocked” and “disgusted” when he discovered the five posters stuck to the centre’s glass door entrance on Cleveland Walk early Sunday morning. Jones said the posters “must have been up for quite a while” which made it even “more shocking.” Avon and Somerset Police Superintendent Andy Bennett described the posters as “inexplicable and unacceptable,” saying the force takes “any reported hate crime…

What do Germaine Greer and J. K. Rowling have in common? Until recently, an obvious answer was that they are strident feminists. But more recently, these two have another claim to fame: they’ve been ‘cancelled’ by mainstream culture for not being radical enough. In a 2015 interview, Germaine Greer refused to describe men who underwent sex-change surgery as ‘women’. For that, she was deplatformed, publicly shamed, and even accused of inciting violence against transgender people — an accusation she describes as ‘absolute nonsense’. In previous decades, Greer was rightly seen as radical for her feminist views. But now as she holds the line defending…

Eric Abetz (LNP) is proving to be no mediocre politician. His speech from July last year remains relevant, making it one of the best ever entered into the Australian senate’s Hansard.[i] This year the Senator for Tasmania provided us with a sequel. Speaking about ‘Political Discourse’ Abetz went head to head with cancel culture and the Left’s double standards. The speech highlighted Queensland University Law professor, James Allen’s piece for The Australian on the June, 16. He gave a long list of examples where people were being bullied into submission, and their livelihoods cancelled because of a small, boisterous percentage…

NESTLE yesterday took the unprecedented step of complaining that its own product was racist, after seeing the publicity other companies got when accused of racism. Company spokeswoman, Candy Crush, told reporters she was “deeply sorry” no-one had been offended by their raspberry-flavoured Redskin confectionery. “Because Redskins are only sold in Australia and New Zealand there has been no outrage from American Indians at all,” she said. “And for that, we are deeply sorry.” It is believed anger about the iconic lolly’s name began last week – not among American Indians, who had never heard of the chewy sweet, but among…

IT is only a matter of time before someone pulls down a statue of Mother Teresa because she was silent on transgender rights. Admittedly, the Catholic saint did some good work amongst the poor of Calcutta, but did she ever use her international profile to campaign for gender-neutral bathrooms? No. And so her statue must go. And statues of Florence Nightingale will likely be demolished because she failed to speak out about the climate emergency. Little matter that the founder of modern nursing lived and died before the effects of the industrial revolution were known. Her silence was violence. How…

If you wanted any more evidence as to the decay of Western Civilisation, then you need only to consider the following example reported by The Daily Wire. The “memory hole” is one of the most haunting images in George Orwell’s dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. Used by government workers at the Ministry of Truth, this chute in the wall enabled Oceania’s one-party government to edit history at will and incinerate all evidence of their propagandistic deeds: Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is…

Dr Albert Mohler, President of the Southern Baptist Seminary in the U.S, is the latest victim of ‘cancel culture’. Religion News Service (RNS) is reporting that over 10,000 people have signed a petition to have Dr Mohler fired because of a supposed “racist” and “homophobic” podcast on June 3. (A full transcript of what was said can be found here) So, what precisely was Dr Mohler’s thought crime? It was that he failed to unequivocally affirm the violent riots around Black Lives Matter protest, and instead “…equated evangelical anger over the Episcopal Church’s embrace of LBTQ rights with the national outrage…

Satire: AUSTRALIA must address factors that make criminals more likely to go to jail than other members of the community, activists say. While the Australian Institute of Criminology has found the rate at which criminals die in custody has been decreasing, data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows the proportion of prisoners in Australia who are criminals has remained steady at 100 percent. This is despite the fact that 100% of prisoners claim to be innocent. “Criminals are over-represented in our prisons,” activist Ima Lawless told thousands of peaceful protestors who had gathered to loot department stores in the…

Australian political history has a lesson for any American politician who chooses to leap before they look, and act on radical calls to abolish law enforcement. Last week, ex-Labor, Gillard-era government minister, Joseph Ludwig was found to have acted with ‘misfeasance’ (‘the wrongful exercise of law’; or in laymen’s terms: an abuse of power) when in June 2011 – with his approval, and under his oversight – the Gillard government put a blanket ban on live cattle exports. Ludwig’s decision was a ‘response to public outcry over footage collected by activists and broadcast on the ABC’s Four Corners, which [appeared…

SATIRE: Since we know that only racists would say they are not racists, it is necessary to prove you are not a racist by acting like you are guilty of racism, even when you feel no actual guilt. Doing this enables you to experience an incredible sense of self-righteousness since, by apologizing for racism, you prove that you are not a racist like those people who refuse to apologize for the racism they are not guilty of; which is itself a form of racism. Racists argue that we don’t have to apologize for racism since Australia is no longer a…

Will Carroll, the drummer for the black metal band, Death Angel, recently contracted Covid-19. Carroll’s condition was so critical that he was placed in a medically-induced coma for almost two weeks. Doctors are still amazed that he survived. But, even more significantly, according to news reports: While in the coma, Carroll said he had dreams of visiting the afterlife. He saw himself leave his body and plummet down to hell, where Satan—a woman in his case—punished him for the deadly sin of sloth, morphing him into a Jabba the Hutt-like-monster who vomited blood until he had a heart attack. “I…

Firebrand Australian Tasmanian senator, Jackie Lambie joins the Liberal National Party’s George Christensen, and Andrew Hastie, along with One Nation’s Pauline Hanson, and Mark Latham, in being among the few Australian parliamentarians to publicly challenge Chinese Communist interference in Australian society, education and politics. Arguing for a “Make Australia Make Again” campaign, the senator channelled her fiery speech from December warning about government inaction with regards to the Chinese regime. Lambie took direct aim and shot straight in the heart of the path of least resistance chosen by The Greens, Labor, and the LNP. It was a clean shot across…
