Is it true that abortion makes up only 3% of the services Planned Parenthood provides? What does Planned Parenthood really do? What do they stand for? Lila Rose, founder and president of Live Action, explains: It calls itself Planned Parenthood, and the deception begins right there. Planned Parenthood doesn’t help people plan for parenthood; it helps people escape it… Abortion, not women’s health, is Planned Parenthood’s reason for being. Planned Parenthood performs a third of all abortions in America, that’s over 321,000 abortions each year, 800 abortions per day, an abortion every 98 seconds. As Rose points out, “that’s the equivalent…

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has released a touching tribute to Billy Graham following news of his passing on Wednesday. The six minute tribute can be viewed below. President Donald Trump also issued a statement, saying: Billy’s unshakeable belief in the power of God’s word to transform hearts gave hope to all who listened to his simple message: “God loves you.”  He carried this message around the world through his crusades, bringing entire generations to faith in Jesus Christ. In the wake of the September 11th attacks in 2001, America turned to Billy Graham at the National Cathedral, who told us,…

It’s truly remarkable that there is a marketing team out there that thought it would be a good idea for ANZ Australia to take sides in one of the most divisive national debates of our time. Of the 12.7 million Australians who voted in the Same-Sex Marriage survey, 38.4% of votes fell on one side, 61.6% fell on the other. At the risk of offending 4,873,987 potential Australian customers, ANZ Australia has introduced the GAYTM. Yes, they’ve managed to sexualise a bank transaction, although they look more like something from the set of George Clooney’s, Batman and Robin. AGL Energy…

In a recent interview on Paul Murray Live, Craig Kelly pointed out, that Australia’s immigration intake is now at 230,000-240,000 per year. “Over four years, that’s a million people,” Kelly said. “That’s close to the population of the city of Adelaide which took two hundred years to develop. We’ve got that in four years. Anyone that drives around Sydney sees the congestion on our roads – the development, the units going up, and that’s just to try and get us where we are today. Where are we going to be in five-ten years time if we continue this rate of…

Tucker Carlson does not believe guns are the reason for mass shootings in America. In a segment on Tucker Carlson Tonight, he stated: “The percentage of American households with firearms has dropped dramatically over the past 35 years, meanwhile, the number of mass shootings has risen. If you’re over 40, you did not grow up in a country like this. So the question is, what happened? It could be a lot of things…” According to Carlson, possible contributing factors include: More Americans are taking psychiatric medications; Life online causes alienation and depression; The collapse of the nuclear family – “fatherlessness is one…

“What about the Crusades?” If you’ve ever criticised the unprovoked brutality of Islam, you’ve probably been asked that question. What’s implied is that Christianity was just as cruel as Islam, if not worse. This, however, is merely a twentieth-century creation, prompted in part by post-World War I British and French imperialism and the post-World War II creation of the state of Israel. In his book, God’s Battalions: The Case for the Crusades, Rodney Stark summarized the current understanding of the Crusades as follows: “During the Crusades, an expansionist, imperialistic Christendom brutalized, looted, and colonized a tolerant and peaceful Islam.” But that’s…

“We should measure welfare’s success by how many people leave welfare, not by how many people are added.” Ronald Reagan Arthur Brooks, president of the American Enterprise Institute, was right when he said, “Our goal should never be to make poverty less miserable. Our goal must be to make poverty more escapable.” Brooks went on to point out, “getting things without working for them is a very hard habit to break. Getting things without working for them can become a way of life.” Australia, like many other nations, continues to prove this to be the case, as the number of…

Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull once assured us, the Same-Sex Marriage bill would not “impose any restrictions on religious freedoms at all. Australians practice their religions with freedom, as we always have done and always will…” He then went on to say the bill itself made “no change to anti-discrimination laws.” This was the standard rhetoric we heard during the Same-Sex Marriage survey. “What’s it got to do with you?” YES voters asked. “If you don’t agree with gay marriage, don’t have one.” The idea was that, if same-sex marriage were to become legal, it would have zero impact on those…

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Sydney’s 40th Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will feature a “new fashion trend among the glitter and the sequins: the rainbow hijab.” The “Pride Scarfs” hijabs are produced by MOGA, a Muslim-owned,  LGBTQI-friendly, fashion label for Islamic headscarves and shawls. Azahn Munas, the creative director of the Melbourne-based company, was quoted as saying, “Our fans range from trendy Muslim ‘hijabsters’ to festivalgoers to drag queens… We really weren’t sure how the religious community would react because we thought a lot of Muslims were intolerant to the gay and lesbian community. But we learnt this is…

Paul Murray from Sky News, a proponent of Same-Sex Marriage, has recently conceded, “Cory Bernardi and others were right.” During his show, Paul Murray Live, Murray stated: I believed that the YES vote was the right case and I believed it for a long time… But Cory Bernardi and others were right. It wasn’t just about a vote about marriage. In fact, it would be about rolling back the way the system currently works for religious organisations to decide whether or not they can hire people based on their sexuality, whether they can decide to marry people based on their…

James Barrett at the Daily Wire writes: There are over 300 million firearms in the U.S. To implement the ‘buyback’ program on the same scale in America would require the forced confiscation of 60 to 100 million guns from tens of millions of Americans. So, would tens of millions of gun-owning Americans, many of whom specifically own those guns for self-defense — including, if not particularly, self-defense against a tyrannical state — voluntarily hand over those guns to a government they believed was violating their constitutionally enshrined rights? Not a chance. What would inevitably have to happen is a militarized…

I am sure many of us have heard of the Pence Rule. Mike Pence the vice president of the United States and a professing Christian, has a rule that he never allows himself to be alone with a woman. I don’t think this should be interpreted to mean that he is unable to control himself around attractive females. Nor do I think he sees himself as such a hot dish that they are unable to keep their hands to themselves. Obviously he is concerned to uphold high moral standards, a good reputation, and not open the door to accusation or…

Earlier this week, Joy Behar, host of ABC’s The View mocked Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith, likening it to a “mental illness.” For context, the entire segment can be viewed below. Like I said before, it’s one thing to talk to Jesus, it’s another thing when Jesus talks to you. That’s called mental illness, if I’m not correct, hearing voices… My question is, can he talk to Mary Magdalene without his wife in the room. The Vice President has since hit back, slamming Behar’s remarks as “wrong” and “insulting” to the majority of Americans who cherish their faith. I…

Bernie Sanders has single-handedly brought the term “democratic socialism” into the contemporary American political lexicon and shaken millions of Millennials out of their apathy towards politics. Even if he does not win the Democratic nomination, his impact on American politics will be evident for years to come. Sanders has convinced a great number of people that things have been going very badly for the great majority of people in the United States, for a very long time. His solution? America must embrace “democratic socialism,” a socioeconomic system that seemingly works very well in the Scandinavian countries, like Sweden, which are,…

Progressives believe they’re “progressing” society by loosening the shackles of “sexual moral norms”. But in reality, what they deem “progression” would be more accurately described as regression. Take, for instance, “progressive” attitudes towards sex. Chastity and abstinence were once considered qualities of virtue, even among non-Christians. But how quickly has “virginity” become a pejorative and derogatory term, as though it is something to be ashamed of. But this is not a new or modern sentiment. Sexuality without limit or restraint was a characteristic of the cruel, barbaric pagan world that used, abused and exploited women. Much that was practised back…

Jonathan Edwards defined envy as, “a spirit of dissatisfaction or opposition to the prosperity or happiness of others.” Similarly, Nathaniel Vincent said, “How much of hell is there in the temper of an envious man! The happiness of another is his misery; the good of another is his affliction.” Vincent continued, “He looks upon the virtue of another with an evil eye, and is as sorry at the praise of another as if that praise were taken away from himself. Envy makes a hater of his neighbour, and his own tormentor.” The video below personifies envy and illustrates the effect…

Magda Szubanski has taken to Twitter to express, what she believes, is the “basics” of the #TimesUp movement: the masculine name and appearance of the Oscar statuette. Szubanski asked her followers why the award still looks like a “mandroid.” She went on to question if anyone had thought of renaming or redesigning the statue to “something less blokey… less, dare I say, binary.” Re #TimesUp let’s start with the basics Why does the #Oscar statue still look like a mandroid? Has anyone thought of renaming him ?? Something less obviously blokey perhaps. And maybe redesign the statue? Again, something less…

The debate regarding Same-Sex Marriage is often framed with the language of “equality” and “human rights.” It’s argued, if some can exercise their right to marry, then why not all? Why is marriage a privilege only granted to some? Isn’t that discrimination? In the following clip, Voddie Baucham explains: Here’s [their] reasoning: Homosexuals have the right to marry; they do not desire to exercise the right as it currently exists; therefore, they do not have the right and the law must be changed… How about we change the first line? Pacifists have the right to join the military; they do…

The Episcopal Church in Washington, DC, recently passed a resolution to drop gendered references to God in favour of gender-neutral language. The resolution adopted states: If revision of the Book of Common Prayer is authorized, to utilize expansive language for God from the rich source of feminine, masculine, and non-binary imagery for God found in Scripture and tradition and, when possible, to avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God. Prior to that, the diocese issued a resolution on the inclusion of transgender people. The resolution, “affirms that all transgender people, and anyone whose gender identity and expression differs from…
