Robots with a black exterior are the latest victims of racism, according to an article recently published by CNN. In a study conducted by the Human Interface Technology Laboratory in New Zealand and published by the country’s University of Canterbury, researchers suggested people perceive physically human-like robots to have a race and therefore apply racial stereotypes to white and black robots. According to the article: “The bias against black robots is a result of bias against African-Americans,” lead researcher Christoph Bartneck explained to The Next Web. He told CNN, “It is amazing to see how people who had no prior…

Incredible scenes from the left side of Australian politics. Shadow Home Affairs Minister Kristina Keneally spoke in the Senate on Tuesday night to illustrate why British born political commentator & former Breitbart editor Raheem Kassam shouldn’t be allowed to enter the country to speak at CPAC (Australia’s Conservative Political Action Conference.) Keneally spoke bluntly: We should not allow a career bigot — a person who spreads hate speech about Muslims, about women and about gay and lesbian people — to enter our country with the express intent of undermining equity and equality. Keneally’s calls come amidst a wash of Australian…

A seemingly sacrosanct truth within prosperous western democracies is the need for a state-based antidote to corporate greed and avarice. Otherwise, we are unable to provide for those left behind by the machinations of supply and demand economics. It is argued that when left unchecked, markets become oligarchic or monopolistic, leaving the consumer and citizen with no power and unaffordable prices. It is the role of the government to thus ensure that these market failures, which in mainstream media take on a Machiavellian complexion, are resisted and expelled through legislation and bureaucracy. The problem does not dissipate however when the…

It all starts to make sense now why the New South Wales government censored the bus ad’s stating the scientific fact that a heart beats at 4 weeks. They’ve been secretly maneuvering to rapidly introduce laws imitating those in Victoria and Queensland to liberalise abortion. The remarkable difference is there will be no referral to a Law Reform Commission, no community consultation, and no opportunity for critique. The laws are to be rushed through on Thursday with the full cooperation of the NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian. Far-left MP Alex Greenwich who was a leader in the campaign to undefine marriage…

A South Australian council has scrapped an annual Christmas event because Christmas is too religious and not inclusive enough for Muslims and Sikhs. Adelaide’s Mitcham Council hosted ‘Carols By the Creek’ for more than twenty years before deciding to pull funding for the event this week. Last weekend, ‘thugs for hire’ terrorized the town of Yuen Long, Hong Kong, beating up anti-extradition, pro-freedom, pro-democracy protesters. Two days ago, University of Toronto professor, Lynette H.
