Police in London arrested a Canadian street preacher after it was alleged he made ‘homophobic’ remarks.
David Lynn, the Toronto based preacher, was arrested under Section 4 of the Public Order Act, which prohibits “threatening, abusive words or behaviour.”
“You’re under arrest for making homophobic remarks,” the officer said. “We’ve had an allegation made…” “How can I be under arrest for an allegation,” Lynn asked. “Section 4 of Public Order, ok?” the officer replied.
