CNN host Christiane Amanpour called Hungary “weird and out-of-step with the world” for rejecting multiculturalism and deciding to preserve their own Christian heritage.

Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto told Ms Amanpour: “We have been a Christian country for a millennium, and I don’t really understand why it’s bad news that we don’t want to change that.”

“And I don’t understand why it’s bad, or why it’s unacceptable that we’d like to stick to our history, to our culture, to our heritage, to our religion,” he added.
