Terry Crews Was Right and Nick Cannon Is Proof

On the same day that actor Terry Crews warned that “Black Lives Matter” risked morphing into “Black Lives Better,” television host Nick Cannon went on a racist tirade, describing white people as “true savages” and “closer to animals.”

But as Crews was receiving a barrage of criticism over his warning, with many calling for the Brooklyn-Nine Nine actor to be permanently “cancelled,” Cannon was offering a perfect demonstration of the very thing Crews was cautioning his followers about.

During the June 30 episode of ‘Cannon’s Class,’ Cannon, in full-blown black-supremacist form, described white people as “lesser,” “savages,” who suffer from a “deficiency.” He also said whites lack “self-esteem” and “soul” and said, “the only way they can act is evil.”

Cannon also targeted Jews during the show, with references to Jewish power, “going as deep as the Rothschilds, centralized banking, the 13 families, the bloodlines that control everything even outside of America.”

Later in the episode, Cannon also lamented “giving too much power to the ‘they.’ And then the ‘they’ turns into Illuminati, the Zionists, the Rothschilds.”

He also claimed that blacks are the “true Hebrews,” making it impossible for them to be anti-Semitic since they are the real Semitic people.

The episode naturally sparked outrage across social media, and ViacomCBS were eventually forced to terminate their relationship with Cannon, specifically over his anti-Semitism.

In an announcement on Tuesday, the company, making no mention of Cannon’s anti-white remarks, said: “We have spoken with Nick Cannon about an episode of his podcast ‘Cannon’s Class’ on YouTube, which promoted hateful speech and spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. While we support ongoing education and dialogue in the fight against bigotry, we are deeply troubled that Nick has failed to acknowledge and apologize for perpetuating anti-Semitism, and we are terminating our relationship with him.”

Cannon later took to Twitter where he issued an apology, but only acknowledged his anti-Semitic remarks:

“First and foremost I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin.

“They reinforced the worst stereotypes of a proud and magnificent people and I feel ashamed of the uninformed and naïve place that these words came from. The video of this interview has since been removed.

“While the Jewish experience encompasses more than 5,000 years and there is so much I have yet to learn, I have had at least a minor history lesson over the past few days and to say that it is eye-opening would be a vast understatement.

“I want to express my gratitude to the Rabbis, community leaders and institutions who reached out to me to help enlighten me, instead of chastising me. I want to assure my Jewish friends, new and old, that this is only the beginning of my education–I am committed to deeper connections, more profound learning and strengthening the bond between our two cultures today and every day going forward.”

Matt Walsh at the Daily Wire aptly noted that this is what ignoring and tacitly accepting anti-white racism looks like.

At the same time that Terry Crews was receiving relentless criticism for his warning about the rise of Black Supremacy, Nick Cannon supporters were flooding his feed with messages of support.

Hours after Cannon was fired, Sean “Diddy” Combs was offering him a job on his Revolt TV network.

“@NickCannon come home to @REVOLTTV truly BLACK OWNED!!!” Combs tweeted on Wednesday. “We got your back and love you and what you have done for the culture. We are for our people first!!! For us! By US! Let’s go!!!”

Should we be surprised by this, really? How long have white people been portrayed as being responsible for all of the world’s ills? How long have black people been told that they could achieve more in life if white people weren’t so darned racist all the time? What do you think will happen when you continually demonize a particular demographic and present them all as closet white supremacists?

We’d be naïve to think anti-white racism will end with anti-white rhetoric and propaganda. Violence always follows. It already has. It needs to be called out for what it is now. This isn’t a black versus white thing, as Rod Lampard rightly noted. This is about truth versus falsehood, and that’s a battle we’re all in – black and white.

Terry Crews gets it. “Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy,” Crews warned last month. “Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together.”
