A Queensland IVF clinic receives two to three inquiries about gender selection every week, and some patients report killing their 10-week-old preborn baby after a blood test revealed the baby was the “wrong sex”. Queensland Fertility Group director Dr David Molloy said that dozens of IVF patients support his legal push for IVF gender-selection, in a legal framework that already permits genetic-based abortion. “I think couples come to me because they know I have always been an advocate of gender selection, but the National Health and Medical Research Council upheld the ban on non-medical gender selection in its 2017 review,”…

The Sun reported last week that UK Army chiefs will reconsider a ban on male soldiers wearing make-up after they were accused of double-standards for allowing make-up to be worn by female soldiers only. A leaked document showing guidelines on “equality, diversity and inclusion” for British soldiers in Canada said that for men “make-up is not to be worn”, however for women, make-up is permitted provided it’s “inconspicuous.” A British Army spokesperson told The Sun: “As an inclusive employer that recognises the diversity of its personnel, we are currently in the process of revising our guidance in this area to…

A distinguished professor of pediatrics has been fired after questioning dangerous and aggressive medical treatments for children with gender confusion. Dr Allan Josephson made the comments in 2017, during a panel discussion at the Heritage Foundation when asked about the medicalisation of children suffering gender dysphoria. According to Travis Barham, an attorney with the Alliance Defending Freedom: “[Dr Josephson] simply raised a very common-sense notion that we should explore what’s going on in the child’s life, what sort of psychiatric issues the child might be facing before we undertake any further more aggressive medical treatment.” Following his remarks, Dr Josephson, the…

Recent studies in the US and UK have revealed that men in Western and developed countries are more disadvantaged than women. Generally speaking, the modern feminist feeds off the idea that males are somehow more privileged than females in almost every aspect of life, from the “gender wage gap”, to the ridiculous notion that men should no longer be able to stand while urinating in public toilets. Researchers from the University of Missouri and the University of Essex believe that previous methods of measuring gender equality have been too focused on women’s issues and not holistic in the application of certain life…

News that an all new, all-girl, [Boy] Scout group celebrated its first meeting in Wooster, Ohio, has met with justifiable criticism online. Popular, meme-heavy, Facebook page, Ron Paul’s Bat noted: So you fought to become part of the Boy Scouts, just so you could start you own girl only troop and do things separate from boys? That sounds like girl scouts with extra steps. Comments on Twitter are making the same observations: “Congratulations you’ve made it all…

The American Psychological Association has warned mental health professionals to consider “traditional masculinity” as psychologically harmful. According to researchers, “stoicism, competitiveness, dominance, and aggression — is, on the whole, harmful” to both boys and men. APA’s new Guidelines for Psychological Practice With Boys and Men strive to recognize and address these problems in boys and men while remaining sensitive to the field’s androcentric past. Thirteen years in the making, they draw on more than 40 years of research showing that traditional masculinity is psychologically harmful and that socializing boys to suppress their emotions causes damage that echoes both inwardly and outwardly.
