An American couple in their 20s have been killed after riding their bikes through an Islamic-State claimed territory in an attempt to prove “humans are kind.” Last year Jay Austin and Lauren Geoghegan both quit their jobs to document a yearlong journey around the world. Throughout their travels the couple set out to demonstrate that human beings are inherently good. “You read the papers and you’re led to believe that the world is a big, scary place,” Mr Austin wrote on his blog. “People, the narrative goes, are not to be trusted. People are bad. People are evil.” “I don’t…

Our politicians and media like to control the people. They’ll tell you what causes to support, what comments to be outraged at, what we can and what we cannot talk about, and which people ought to be socially rejected. Take Lauren Southern’s recent Australian tour for example. Almost every media outlet in the country had something to say about the alt-right, far-right, right-wing, homophobic, transphobic, white-supremacist, fascist, anti-feminist, Nazi, racist 23-year-old Canadian. But even Joe Hildebrand noted, “most of the news articles I’ve read don’t actually outline what her ideas are. Instead she is typically just referred to as racist,…

CNN Opinion asked a group of contributors to weigh in on the mass censorship of Alex Jones and InfoWars. One contributor was Rafia Zakaria, a “Muslim-American” author and columnist for Dawn newspaper in Pakistan and The Baffler. Zakaria told CNN that she sees the mass deletion of InfoWars as “an important step in recognizing hate speech as a form of terrorism.” “This new decision is a step forward in recognizing that hate outlets, such as InfoWars, are complicit in domestic terror, and a relief to Muslim-Americans, like myself, who have been the target of online assaults and threats.” Nobody likes terrorism,…

Nasreen Akhter and her husband Mohammed Shabaz Khan were married in London almost 20 years ago according to an Islamic ceremony called nikah, a union not recognised under British matrimonial law. When Mrs Akhtar filed for divorce, Mr Khan attempted to block the application in a UK court on the basis that they were never legally married. However, he High Court ruled on Wednesday that the Pakistani couple’s sharia marriage falls under British matrimonial law and should be recognised because the couple, lived as man and wife since 1998. Commenting on the case, Hazel Wright a partner in the family…

Activist Avi Yemini has officially been zucked. Facebook today unpublished Avi’s page which had attracted more than 170,000 followers. In a video posted on Youtube Avi said Facebook had not given him a reason for removing his page, but vowed he will fight the decision, even if he has to go to court. “Is it because Tommy Robinson shared a video of mine today, thanking Australian’s for their support?” Avi asked. “Is it because I may have crossed the line mentioning Islam too many times? I don’t know, they haven’t given me a reason. I’ve appealed it… I will fight…

A proposed Code of Conduct, which is open for public submissions until August 17, could force doctors to accept ‘cultural beliefs and practises’ that are opposed to good medical practise, according to a group of doctors. The Medical Board of Australia draft code of conduct that will apply to all Australian doctors requires doctors to be “culturally safe” and comply with a patient’s beliefs about gender identity and sexuality, with no provision given for a doctor to differ in their professional judgement. A doctors’ group convened by Dr Lachlan Dunjey of Perth, has expressed concern for the future of medicine…

Lauren Southern’s Australian tour wrapped up this week, and to the surprise of many dooms-day alarming Leftists, Australia somehow survived. You’d almost be forgiven for thinking we were about to witness the death of democracy considering the media coverage. Almost every media outlet in the country had something to say about the alt-right, far-right, right-wing, homophobic, transphobic, white-supremacist, fascist, anti-feminist, Nazi, racist 23-year-old Canadian. Hundreds of inmates radicalized during the war in Syria and the rise of Islamic State are set to be released from French prisons before the end of next year, the Wall Street Journal reports. Of those set to be released, about 50 were serving terrorism-related sentences, and a further 400 were classified as “radicalized” while in prison. According to the WSJ, “That group includes inmates finishing longer sentences who were convicted before the Syrian war, such as Djamel Beghal, who left prison on Monday.” “Mr. Beghal was handed his first terrorism-related conviction in 2001, another in 2013, and French magistrates…

A bus company in the UK has scrapped adverts promoting a Christian festival after backlash from LGBTQ activists. The banners promoting the Festival of Hope appeared on Blackpool Transport’s Palladium fleet. The event was to be held at the Winter Gardens, and featured American evangelist Franklin Graham. In 2014 Graham reportedly upset the LGBTQ crowd after he suggested the gay rights movement was orchestrated by Satan, as an assault against the Christian faith. “When [the President] fails to defend biblically defined marriage, and he openly and zealously advocates for gay rights… we know we are locked in a war against the Christian…

The pair are set to tour major Australian cities and Auckland from July 20 – August 3. At least 100 foreign fighters who joined terror groups in the Middle East are expected to soon return to Australia, and most likely, Sydney. But why? Why bring them here at all? To quote Senator Cory Bernardi, “We’ve got enough Islamic nutcases at work in this country already.” Watch:

In 2014, I got great pleasure from watching Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, the celebrated sci-fi led by Matthew McConaughey. Inspired by my father, I had read Arthur C. Clarke and H. G. Wells in my youth, and to me, Interstellar was a return to the purest sci-fi. It really understood the modernist spirit. Star-wars scarcely rates as the same genre, being much more of a fairy-tale, really (a long time ago, in a land far away, a young princess got kidnapped, by a nasty wizard…). Unlike fantasy fiction, in which power is super-natural and has some basis in past history, a…

Senator Cory Bernardi has said he’s “right on board” with Denmark’s recent decision to ban the Islamic full-face veil in public spaces. Senator Bernardi told Triple M: You shouldn’t be able to cover your face in public buildings. If you want to do it in your backyard, that’s OK. But what’s the point of having security cameras on our streets or CCTV if you don’t know who’s hiding underneath it? There’s been evidence that criminals have been using it… It is the flag of Islamic fundamentalism and we don’t want Islamic fundamentalism in this country. Listen: Senator @corybernardi is right…

Flyers distributed in England are calling on white-supremacists to “Punish a Muslim” on July 24. The letter suggests punishments such as, “Spit in the face of a Muslim,” “Slap the Muslim in the face,” and even “Assassinate the Muslim politician, actor, comedian, cafe owner, or other leading figure and display his head on a pole.” The flyers are horrific, but author Raheem Kassam, is calling B.S. One of the punishments suggested involved burning or tearing up the “Holy Quran” and leaving it outside a “Masjid,” the Arabic word for Mosque. Kassam rightly pointed out, “No one who hates Islam would…

Allie Stuckey, The Conservative Millennial, has schooled Mitt Romney after the candidate for U.S. Senate in Utah called pastor Robert Jeffress a “religious bigot” for believing one of the most basic doctrines of Christianity. Robert Jeffress says “you can’t be saved by being a Jew,“ and “Mormonism is a heresy from the pit of hell.” He’s said the same about Islam. Such a religious bigot should not be giving the prayer that opens the United States Embassy in Jerusalem. — Mitt Romney (@MittRomney) May 14, 2018 Historic Christianity has taught for 2,000 years that salvation is through faith in Christ…

Do we need any more proof that the United Kingdom is broken? Tommy Robinson’s arrest was not an isolated incident. The United Kingdom has been on its knees to Islam for years. Just watch what happens when Muslim activist Anjem Choudary confronts a police officer after the officer is spotted wearing a Help for Heroes wristband. “As an officer you’re not supposed to have a political agenda,” Choudary states. “You’re not supposed to support the British government in their foreign policy, are you really? And you have a band, and you’re supporting the soldiers of this country… Why are you…
