Gingerbread men have been banned from Scottish Parliament because–you guessed it–they’re prejudice against women.

The traditional biscuits have now been replaced with “gingerbread persons” as part of a new drive to stamp out sexism and sexual harassment, The Sun reported.

Annie Wells, member of Scottish Parliament said: “Surely the Scottish Parliament has got better things to do than worry about what to call gingerbread men?

“This is an utterly pointless gesture which simply trivialises the real issues of gender equality.”
