A jury has ruled against a father trying to prevent his seven-year-old son from undergoing a chemical castrating gender “transition.”

The youngster’s father, Jeffrey Younger, was fighting for custody of the boy, James, claiming his ex-wife, Anne Georgulas, was “transitioning” their son against the boy’s will.

Initially, the boy’s mother reportedly brought the lawsuit against her ex-husband, accusing him of psychologically abusing James, and asking for decreased overnight stays and supervised visits only.

In a counter-petition, Mr Younger requested he be granted complete authority over medical, psychological and other decision-making for the boy.

According to LifeSiteNews, 11 of 12 jurors granted the young boy’s mother full authority to continue “transitioning” her son James into “Luna” with puberty blockers and eventually cross-sex hormones.

In a July interview with RT News, Mr Younger said his son dresses like a girl out of fear his mother won’t love him.

“He’s never presented himself to me as a girl, ever,” Mr Younger said. “In fact, with me, he violently rejects any female identity. He won’t wear female clothes. He won’t wear boy’s briefs underwear, because he says it’s too much like girl’s underwear.”

In his efforts to protect his son, Mr Younger set up the website SaveJames.com, from which he’s received over $65,000 in donations towards his $250,000 legal fees.

In a plea for help on his website, Mr Younger said:

I’m looking out for the best interests of James, my son. When James is with me, he shows no signs of wanting to be a girl when given the choice. Even when in female company, away from me, James rejects a female gender expression.

This suggests that the diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria should be reviewed by an independent psychologist. James has never had an independent second opinion. Medical and social intervention should be suspended until James’ father can get a good second opinion.

James is unaware of long-term consequences of transitioning gender. James has expressed an interest in having children. If subjected to medical interventions, James will be permanently sterilized. James would never be able to have children.

The jury’s ruling likely means the father will be required to affirm the boy’s gender transition and hereafter identify his son as a girl.
