Human-animal relations are “a sexual orientation and a lifestyle choice”, activist claims

When a farmer in southwest Germany noticed his sheep became increasingly frightened by human contact, he rigged a CCTV camera to the rafters of his barn in hopes to learn why. When a farmer in southwest Germany noticed his sheep became increasingly frightened by human contact, he rigged a CCTV camera to the rafters of his barn in hopes to learn why. The tapes revealed multiple men breaking in during the night to sexually abuse his livestock.

According to animal welfare officer, Madeline Martin, this was not an isolated incident. Martin told the Frankfurter Rundschau, that the current laws were not protecting animals from predatory zoophiles. While animal porn is illegal in Germany, sex with animals has been legal since 1969 provided the animal is not “forced.”

“There are now animal brothels in Germany,” Martin told the paper, but people are playing down the issue by labelling it a ‘lifestyle choice.’

Michael Kiok, chairman of Zoophiles Engaging for Tolerance and Enlightenment (ZETA), a group lobbying for more acceptance of human-animal relations, claimed: “Psychologists studied 120 zoophiles and found that zoophilia is a sexual orientation. You can’t just stop these feelings…”

Kiok went on to explain, “prohibition of sexual contact between humans and animals was abolished in 1969 because the philosophy of penal law had changed–it used to be about morality, but then they changed it to a philosophy based on infringing on someone’s civil rights. In German law… [animals] have no rights.”

Martin is now calling for the government to categorically ban bestiality across Germany. However, Kiok has said they will mount a legal challenge should bestiality become illegal, because “mere concepts of morality have no business being law.”

Once again we see, when God is removed from law, morality becomes a baseless concept. ‘Good’ and ‘bad’ are reduced to matters of personal preference. And as Dostoevsky once said, “If there is no God, everything is permitted.”
