A UK professor has received a barrage of abuse after suggesting a woman is defined by law as biological, not psychological. Rosa Freedman, Professor of Law, at The University of Reading, posted a series of tweets detailing the backlash. “I found my office door covered in urine,” Professor Freedman said. “People are continuously calling my phone from an anonymous number, and when I answer I am laughed at and told that I am a ‘TERF’ who ‘should be raped and killed.’” “If this is how a University Professor is treated, little wonder that women who work in jobs without protection…

PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is urging the public to stop using “speciesist” phrases like, “bring home the bacon,” because they trivialize animal cruelty. “Words matter,” Peta said on Twitter yesterday. “And as our understanding of social justice evolves, our language evolves along with it. Here’s how to remove speciesism from your daily conversations.” The animal rights group went on to highlight some every-day “anti-animal language” and offered a list of acceptable alternatives. Examples include swapping the phrase, “be the guinea pig” with “be the test tube,” and replacing “beat a dead horse” with “feed a fed…

Apple CEO Tim Cook has suggested it would be a “sin” to not censor people on social media who “push division.” In other words, social media CEOs will ban speech they personally find objectionable. In the 2.5-minute clip, Cook said: We only have one message for those who seek to push hate, division, and violence: You have no place on our platforms. You have no home here. “From the earliest days of iTunes to Apple Music today we have always prohibited music with a message of white supremacy. Why? Because it’s the right thing to do. “And as we showed…

Does Australia have a separation of church and state, and if so, what does it mean? There’s a common misconception that separation of church and state means religion should not have any influence on politics or legislation. In the following short video, Dr. Stephen Chavura says this misunderstanding confuses two very different ideas. “Separation of church and state is about the power of one institution over another – of the government over the churches and over people’s religious beliefs. Separation of religion and politics is the idea that religion shouldn’t in any way influence politics, and that’s probably not even…

In August, Iranian refugee and former Muslim, Ramin Parsa was arrested for trespassing – *coughs* for breaking blasphemy laws – while privately sharing his testimony about becoming a Christian, in a Mall of America, shopping centre in Minnesota. Tyler O’Neil from PJ media reported that while Ramin, now a Christian Pastor living in Los Angeles, was sharing his testimony: Another woman who was not part of the conversation went and complained to the security. The guard came and said, ‘You can’t solicit here.’ He then told them “we were not soliciting”. He just said, ‘Bye,’ and walked away.” After Parsa,…

Things got heated on Good Morning Britain when Piers Morgan blasted Rotherham council after they invited a child rapist to see his victim’s son. Sammy Woodhouse was just 15-years-old when she was raped by Arshid Hussain, a convicted serial rapist and the ringleader of a child-grooming gang. But Hussain’s conviction didn’t stop Rotherham council from contacting him in prison to give him the chance to stake a claim in his victim’s child. After Woodhouse appeared on Good Morning Britain, Morgan’s producers were urging him to read a statement from the council, but he refused, calling it a “load of crap.”…

This is near prophetic! A decade ago, Hitchens perfectly predicted how accusations of “Islamophobia” will be used to control the people and let “barbarians take over the city.” “This is very urgent business, ladies and gentlemen,” Hitchens said. “I beseech you, resist it while you still can. And before the right to complain will be taken away from you – which will be the next thing. “You’ll be told you can’t complain because you’re ‘Islamophobic.’ The term is already being introduced into the culture as if it was an accusation of race-hatred… The barbarians never take a city until someone…

Controversial blogger, Adam Piggot in an article on Christian men and feminism raised some talking points about the current state of the Church. Adam discussed how Christians have backed down in the face of feminism. His major point was that ‘the modern Christian fears’ taking a stand against feminism. Adam’s argued that men, women and children have now become its puppets. Men in the Church have a particular responsibility for this. They’ve allowed the feminist conquest of the Church by feminist ideologues, who seem hell bent on either running churches and dominating their agenda, or destroying them outright. Though I…

The host of a U.S. radio show has tried desperately not to insult Islam after a Muslim man called in and said LGBTQ people need to be beheaded. The man went on to claim his Muslim “brothers and sisters” are fighting to have Sharia Law implemented in the United States and any opposition to that goal is “anti-Muslim.” The female host asked the man, “So people should be beheaded for being gay? Come on. This is America.” “You’re anti-Muslims?” the man responded. “I’m not anti-Muslim,” she quickly replied. “You’re anti-Muslim if you’re saying that about my religion,” he said. “No,…

Thousands of students reportedly skipped school on Friday to protest against the Australian Government’s inaction on climate change. The rally came despite Prime Minister Scott Morrison urging students to stay in school. “Kids should go to school,” Morrison said. “That’s what we’re committed to. We don’t support the idea of kids not going to school, to participate in things that can be dealt with outside of school. “We do not support our schools being turned into parliaments. What we want is more learning in schools and less activism in schools,” he said. Students rallied with signs that read, “F U…

New Zealand is fast becoming one of the most “progressive” left-wing nations in the world, particularly when it comes to LGBTQI and gender related issues. Their most recent pursuit revolves around the white-bearded, red-suited, plump and jolly old man, who in modern folklore delivers presents to children at Christmas time. That’s right, even a fictional character invented to bring joy to children around the globe has been deemed “offensive” in New Zealand. The Farmers Santa Parade marks the start of the Christmas season and has brought joy to the children of Auckland for eighty four years. For the last five years,…

The Facebook overlords have decided to pull all monetization features from Caldron Pool, after the “Media Operations Team” claimed our posts violate Facebook’s Community Standards. Perhaps we dead-named or misgendered someone? We don’t know, actually. After multiple requests, Facebook refused to say. Or maybe it was this photograph of French President Emmanuel Macron, which apparently contains “nudity or sexual activity.” Apart from that, we haven’t had a post removed in a long time so I take it some God-hating leftie simply felt unsafe by one of our articles and hit the kill-switch. In other news, Laura Loomer handcuffed herself to Twitter…

The Global Compact on Migration is said to be the “legalisation of mass migration” by declaring migration a human right. The compact is also said to be the “legal framework on which the participating countries commit themselves to build new legislation.” What makes the migration pact even more concerning is that it seeks to criminalise criticism of migration, by individuals and media outlets. “One basic element of this new agreement is the extension of the definition of ‘hate speech’… Criticism of migration will become a criminal offense. And media outlets that give room to criticism of migration can be shut…

The Northern Territory has passed new laws to allow individuals, including children, to legally change their gender without the need for surgery. The changes to the Birth, Deaths and Marriage Act allows people to register their gender as non-binary on their birth certificates, as well as making it easier for transgender people to change their sex without surgery. Parents will also be able to change the sex identity of their children. NT Attorney-General Natasha Fyles said, “Australians voted last year to allow same-sex marriage so there are consequential amendments needed in the NT.” “We are watching our nation going nuts,”…

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer or Rudolph the Marginalized Reindeer? The 1964 children’s Christmas classic is “seriously problematic,” according to HuffPost. A video posted on Twitter claims, viewers are noticing the tale may not be so jolly after all. Two random individuals are then quoted, with blue verification check marks, although the first account is not currently verified, and the second, doesn’t exist. “Yearly reminder that Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is a parable on racism and homophobia with Santa as a bigoted exploitative pr-ck,” the first tweet read. “Santa’s operation is a HR nightmare and in serious need of diversity…

Political correctness in its excessive form is the secular equivalent of Shari’a law. It might not have the full judicial weight of Western law behind it yet, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t trying to manipulate the system so as to implement it. I used to think that the only thing wrong with political correctness was the excesses that went along with it. Take the good, reject the bad. However, the more I learn from those who practice and enforce the ideals of political correctness, the more I arrive at the conclusion that political correctness is the secular version of…

Drawing on the work of two American writers, Jonathan Haidt and Greg Lukianoff, Paul Kelly wrote recently of ‘the three great lies corroding Western cultures’. In his view, these are: first, that disputes today are a battle between good (defined as the oppressed victims) and evil (defined as the privileged minority); secondly, that people will be made weaker by being challenged so they need to be protected and made safe; and thirdly, that we must always trust our feelings. All that is undeniable, but associated with these great lies is the confusion in our view of the law. In the…

A school in Brighton has 76 students, aged between 11 and 16, who identify as transgender. According to a survey conducted at Dorothy Stringer School, 40 of those children said they do not identify with their birth sex, while 36 claimed they were ‘gender fluid.’ In the U.K., the number of children being referred to gender identity clinics quadrupled in the space of just five years. In 2012-13 there were 20 children aged between three and seven who were referred to gender clinics. By 2016 that number jumped to 84, while referrals for children under the age of 10 also…
