A Queensland couple are suing the medical staff at a Gold Coast ultrasound clinic for “wrongful birth” after failing to diagnose their unborn daughter with Down syndrome. The parents, who gave birth to their daughter back in 2015, said they would have aborted the now four-year-old girl if they had known of her condition. In 2014 the couple were allegedly told by both a doctor and a sonographer that the risk of a chromosomal abnormality was in the “low range” and advised that further testing was unnecessary. The parents have indicated they will seek damages for child-rearing costs, with the…

The Pinterest insider who blew the whistle on big tech censorship, including Pinterest’s suppression of Christian and conservative content has been fired. In an interview with James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, Eric Cochran, a software engineer at Pinterest, revealed the company marked Christianity-related terms and Bible verses as “brand unsafe.” Cochran also revealed that such terms were also removed from Pinterest’s auto-complete search results, while other material was either hidden or silently removed. Terrisa Bukovinac, founder and executive director of Pro-Life San Francisco, has set up a Go Fund Me page in support of Cochran, who she described as a…

Progressivism has become so pervasive that it’s about time that a children’s book is written on the political left. We’ve all been wanting to understand those big words that are thrown around time and time again and so, for social education of knuckle-dragging-cave-dwelling-deplorables everywhere, here are your 21st century ABC’s. A is for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez AOC: The Fresh New Face of the Democratic Party, or as Ben Shapiro says, “So fresh. So face.” Never before have the ideals of communism been espoused in such eloquence and grandeur than through the lips of this 21st century feminist prophet. According to AOC,…

Pinterest has permanently suspended pro-life advocacy group Live Action and accused the organisation of spreading “harmful misinformation” that could “have immediate detrimental effects on a Pinner’s health or public safety.” A whistleblower at Pinterest told Project Veritas the social media company were suppressing and censoring pro-life and Christian content prior to Live Action’s ban. After reviewing Pinterest’s “Sensitive Terms List”, Project Veritas discovered that Christianity-related terms like “Christian Easter” and “Bible verses” were marked as “brand unsafe.” The whistleblower explained that such terms are removed from Pinterest’s auto-complete search results, while other material is either “hidden” or “silently removed.” According to…

The Trump administration has denied requests from U.S. embassies worldwide to fly the rainbow flag in celebration of LGBTQ Pride Month. Vice President Mike Pence on Monday told NBC News he supported the State Department’s decision saying the only flag to fly on the flag pole of American embassies should be the American flag. “As the president said on the night we were elected, we’re proud to be able to serve every American, and we both feel that way very passionately,” Pence said. “But when it comes to the American flagpole, and American embassies, and capitals around the world, having…

Since releasing a redacted version of the famed Mueller report, America’s current attorney general, William Barr, has been at the centre of much speculation and contention. The drama centers on the fact that Barr has so far refused to release an un-redacted version of the Mueller report. Barr, 68 and a Roman Catholic, was nominated by Donald Trump in December and confirmed as Attorney General in January, after a grilling Senate vetting process involving both Democrats and Republicans. He isn’t a novice to how politics works. Given the divisive, ravenous dissonance of the “hate Trump, love trumps hate” modus operandi…

Killing newborn babies is morally the same as abortion, a publication in The British Medical Journal argued back in 2012. According to the paper, authored by Monash and Melbourne University academics, the “moral status of the infant is equivalent to that of a fetus”. The authors, however, go on to suggest that “neither can be considered a ‘person’ in a morally relevant sense.” The authors argued that “after-birth abortion” can be justified on the basis that the baby is not missing out on a life he or she cannot contemplate. Furthermore, considering that one-third of infants with Down syndrome are…

A Philadelphia mother has thanked her unborn twins for “choosing” her before beginning the process of chemically aborting them on camera. The woman, known only as Taryn, was part of a PBS Frontline documentary that originally aired in April under the title, The Abortion Divide. Taryn is filmed downing mifepristone, the first pill of a chemical abortion procedure, which according to the abortionist, “makes the pregnancy stop growing.” Taryn is instructed to take another pill 24-hours later designed to induce cramping and bleeding in order to help her body “push the pregnancy tissue out of her uterus.” You’ll notice pro-aborts…

A pastor in Toronto, Canada was arrested last week after his gospel message offended a nearby mob. Pastor David Lynn of Christ Forgiveness Ministries was at Church-Wellesley Village on June 4, as part of the ministry’s outdoor preaching tour throughout 22 districts in Toronto. The entire incident, including Pastor Lynn’s arrest, was live-streamed on Facebook and later uploaded to YouTube. The video shows Lynn sharing the gospel with people on a street corner when a group of belligerent LGBTQ protesters began to form a blockade around the pastor and shout down his message. “We are here to tell you that…

When medical professionals and social/thought leaders tacitly approved of Noa Pothoven’s decision to commit suicide, it signals a number of devastating messages to every victim of rape or great trauma. First, it suggests to them that your life is not worth living; second, that evil ought to win; and third, that there’s no hope after victimisation. Noa’s decision to stop receiving care and end her own life was a mistake. To suggest otherwise is cruel and dangerous. Our Creator Jesus holds out His arms to embrace and heal victims of evil, but too often we ignore him and turn to…

A study conducted by the University of Kent revealed most atheists and agnostics believe in supernatural powers. According to The Times, the Understanding Unbelief program surveyed thousands of self-identified atheists and agnostics from six countries – Britain, the United States, Brazil, China, Denmark and Japan. Researchers found of those interviewed, only a minority rejected all of the supernatural beliefs put to them. The findings aren’t surprising, really. The atheist says there is no God, but according to Romans 1, God says there are no atheists. In Romans 1:18 onwards, the Apostle Paul talks about people who, because of their sin,…

VICE Canada is celebrating the next generation of drag queens with a video promoting a new documentary about preteen drag kids. During preparations, one of the boys is excited to show off his new…

Opponents of Christianity often appeal to the horrors of history to suggest the Christian faith is inherently dangerous and immoral. Examples are presented of prominent “Christian” figures throughout the past who’ve acted unjustly towards others, as though their actions were inspired by an overly zealous commitment to biblical instruction. Today, there’s an expectation that Christians ought to be ashamed of their history, and even apologetic for the sins of yesterday’s professing believers. But that shouldn’t be the case. Christianity doesn’t need to apologise for injustices orchestrated by professing Christians, because every injustice ever committed is carried out contrary to Christianity.…

A protester at the Toronto Al Quds Day rally has said at some point, Sharia Law will replace Canadian Law because “we have families, we are making babies, you’re not.” “Your population is going down the slump,” the protester told David Menzies of Rebel Media. “By 2060, according to Pew Research Institute, your research, by 2060 Muslims will be the biggest religious group the world over. This morning in the New South Wales Parliament One Nation MP Mark Latham moved a motion in defense of religious freedom. During his speech, Latham said: “75 years ago today young men from across the Free World stormed the beaches of Normandy to fight for the liberty of all mankind… How then in 2019 are so many Australians worried about the loss of religious freedom in our country in peacetime?” Referring to the recent sacking of rugby star Israel Folau, Latham went on to blast corporate dictatorships and their influence in sport: In 1944 the Free World fought a dictatorial…

Mark Latham is today expected to move a motion protecting religious freedom and condemning Rugby Australia for their treatment of Israel Folau. The One Nation MP will also ask the NSW Parliament to condemn Rugby Australia for redefining the Bible as a form of vilification and ‘hate speech.’ The motion states: That this House calls on the Government to: (a) support the basic human right of New South Wales workers to express political, cultural and religious opinion in their private time, away from their place of work, without suffering employment penalties, (b) support Article 18 of the International Covenant of Civil and…

Dennis Prager’s interview with Jordan Peterson from March this year has its cringe-worthy moments. All in all, though, it’s worth hearing. As you know I’m cautious about Peterson. I’d like to hear him be more direct about how faith informs his theological statements. More often than anything else, Peterson focuses on the humanity of Christ and comes across as a curious spectator. He sees that there’s more to Jesus Christ, but is bound by the conventions of thought inherited through a revisionist system that is at best, begrudgingly tolerant of Biblical Christianity (Judeo-Christianity) and is at its worst, completely hateful…
