Chilling video: Envy is evil
Jonathan Edwards defined envy as, “a spirit of dissatisfaction or opposition to the prosperity or happiness of others.” Similarly, Nathaniel Vincent said, “How much of hell is there in the temper of an envious man! The happiness of another is his misery; the good of another is his affliction.” Vincent continued, “He looks upon the virtue of another with an evil eye, and is as sorry at the praise of another as if that praise were taken away from himself. Envy makes a hater of his neighbour, and his own tormentor.” The video below personifies envy and illustrates the effect…
Magda Szubanski: Redesign Oscar statue to something ‘less blokey’
Magda Szubanski has taken to Twitter to express, what she believes, is the “basics” of the #TimesUp movement: the masculine name and appearance of the Oscar statuette. Szubanski asked her followers why the award still looks like a “mandroid.” She went on to question if anyone had thought of renaming or redesigning the statue to “something less blokey… less, dare I say, binary.” Re #TimesUp let’s start with the basics Why does the #Oscar statue still look like a mandroid? Has anyone thought of renaming him ?? Something less obviously blokey perhaps. And maybe redesign the statue? Again, something less…
No, Peter Worland, everyone is born imperfect and broken
Peter Worland, executive director of Uniting tells us, “everyone is born in the image of God.” What that means, according to Worland, is that “every person is… not born broken, but born perfect. And that means every LGBTI person as well.” Is that what the Bible says, or is Peter Worland and his friends at the Uniting Church, contradicting the faith they claim to profess? Here’s what the Bible actually says. You be the judge: I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. (Ps. 51:5) The heart is deceitful above all things, and…
LGBTQI people already had the right to marry
The debate regarding Same-Sex Marriage is often framed with the language of “equality” and “human rights.” It’s argued, if some can exercise their right to marry, then why not all? Why is marriage a privilege only granted to some? Isn’t that discrimination? In the following clip, Voddie Baucham explains: Here’s [their] reasoning: Homosexuals have the right to marry; they do not desire to exercise the right as it currently exists; therefore, they do not have the right and the law must be changed… How about we change the first line? Pacifists have the right to join the military; they do…
Episcopal Church affirms transgender and drop gendered references to God
The Episcopal Church in Washington, DC, recently passed a resolution to drop gendered references to God in favour of gender-neutral language. The resolution adopted states: If revision of the Book of Common Prayer is authorized, to utilize expansive language for God from the rich source of feminine, masculine, and non-binary imagery for God found in Scripture and tradition and, when possible, to avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God. Prior to that, the diocese issued a resolution on the inclusion of transgender people. The resolution, “affirms that all transgender people, and anyone whose gender identity and expression differs from…

What would the world be like without Christianity?
Christians are often accused of being on the wrong side of history, but what if that’s entirely false? In the video below, Todd Friel, from Wretched Radio, discusses what the world was like before the spread of Christianity. Quoting from Jeremiah J. Johnston’s book, Unimaginable: What Our World Would Be Like Without Christianity, Friel explains: By today’s standard, life back then was hell on earth. Poverty, sickness, premature death, domestic violence, economic injustice, slavery and political corruption were the given of life. The ancient world had little regard for human life, especially the life of a slave. “The slave is a…
Lawmakers push to make Tide Pods less appetizing
Well, it’s 2018. The current year! And both teenagers and adults are eating Tide Pods. According to the American Association of Poison Control Centres (AAPCC), more than 80 calls were made concerning teens intentionally ingesting the laundry detergent in the first three weeks of 2018. In a press release, the AAPCC warned: “We cannot stress enough how dangerous this is to the health of individuals–it can lead to seizure, pulmonary edema, respiratory arrest, coma, and even death.” Thankfully, lawmakers are coming to the rescue after identifying the real issue: “Bright colored detergent pods look like candy.” They might as well…

Justin Trudeau on how returning ISIS fighters will benefit Canada
A young father has asked the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, how returning ISIS fighters are going to benefit Canada, and how he will ensure the safety of future Canadians. The questioner asked: I just want to know how your stance on ISIS is going to help Canadians in any way. I need to know how you’re going to protect future Canadians like my young daughter, in ten, fifteen, twenty years from now, when you’re letting people in with an ideology that just does not conform to what we’re doing here. Trudeau responded by suggesting all immigrants are resisted…

If a rapist tries to tamper with the padlock a 140 decibel alarm will sound. Presently, the shorts are only available in black, however the lock comes in a range of colours. The Washington Post revealed, during the…
Peta Credlin destroys Kevin Rudd
Peta Credlin brutally destroys former Prime Minister of Australia and Labor politician, Kevin Rudd. Excerpt and video below: You’d be hard pressed to find anyone, Liberal voter or not, who’d think your defeat of John Howard was anything other than a backward step for Australia. You inherited 50 billion in the bank. No net debt. And surplus budgets as far as the eye could see. When you were turfed out of office in 2013 debt had ballooned to almost 300 billion. And that surplus you promised, year after year after year never turned up. An economic conservative? Give me a…
Mark Powell: Is Lyle Shelton our Jacob Rees-Mogg?
Over at the Spectator, Mark Powell writes: “…the ‘separation of Church and State’ never meant, as is so often claimed today, the expulsion of the Church by the State. It simply meant that the State should not intrude into the realm of the Church but would actually support it! As Dr Stephen Chavura, of Macquarie University, quoting Jeremy Taylor who, back in 1856 wrote: I have said that the duties of the state are of a ‘secular’ than a ‘spiritual’ order. That it has to consult the well being of the community over which it presides by the enactment of laws…

What happened to Lebanon? A warning to the West
What happened to Christian Lebanon? Brigitte Gabriel explains: In 1965, National Geographic Magazine had on its front cover, “Lebanon, Eden of the Middle East.” Unfortunately, all this began to change as the years went by. We got our independence in the early 40s, but by the 60s and 70s, the Christians had become the minority and the Muslims had become the majority in Lebanon. And as the Islamic population grew in the country, the country became less and less tolerant, because they started pushing for more rights that were not compatible with our Judeo-Christian value system that we had created,…

Why multiculturalism can’t work: Allah and Islam first; Australia fourth… maybe
In a previous article, we noted that the goal of multiculturalism is “diversity in harmony,” however that end will not be achieved unless all parties involved share that same goal. Sadly, that’s not the case. While all peoples are equal, all cultures are not, despite the delusions of the cultural relativists. That’s why, as Mark Steyn rightly noted: The interesting thing about multiculturalism is it’s a uni-cultural phenomenon. You can’t be multicultural in Saudi Arabia, it’s impossible. The Pew Research Center found, 88% of Muslims in Egypt; 62% in Pakistan; 86% in Jordan and 51% in Nigeria, believe Muslim apostates…
British Army commercial features Muslim soldier in prayer on the battlefield as team patiently wait on
This is Belonging 2018, is the latest recruiting campaign for the British Army. In their latest advertisement sub-titled, Keeping My Faith, a Muslim soldier is featured praying in Arabic to Allah as his fellow infantrymen patiently wait on. At one point, it even appears they silence their radios out of respect for the moment. Colonel Richard Kemp, who led British troops in Afghanistan, said the commercial depicted an Army “being forced down a route of political correctness.” What it clearly is doing is appealing, trying to appeal, to a series of minorities who may or may not be interested in…
