VIDEO: CNN Accidentally Describes Violent Protests As “Violent Protests,” Quickly Changes It

"America in Crisis: 8PM curfew ordered after violent protests over police shooting of unarmed black man in Wisconsin."

The CNN employee responsible for the chyron text that appears at the bottom of the screen has probably lost his job this week, after accidentally describing the violent protests in Wisconsin as “violent protests.”

The text, which briefly appeared on-screen for over 10-seconds during The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, read:

“America in Crisis: 8PM curfew ordered after violent protests over police shooting of unarmed black man in Wisconsin.”

After realizing their honest take threatened to contradict their own narrative, CNN promptly updated the screen, removing the word “violent.”

CNN has been ridiculed on social media for their recent coverage of the riots, which one report described as “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” as the reporter stood in front of cars and buildings set ablaze.

Fake news, indeed!
