Planned Parenthood, an organisation that performs a third of all abortions in the United States, has taken to Twitter to lament “white supremacy.”
A post on the organisation’s official Twitter page says: “We’re devastated, grieving, and outraged by violence against Black lives. We must continue to demand accountability, justice, and an end to the inequality that continues to define every moment of life for Black America from the racist institutions that uphold white supremacy.”

The abortion provider went on to say: “White supremacy and systemic racism permeate every institution — including the foundation of this country. As our nation confronts the COVID-19 pandemic, which is disproportionately ravaging Black communities, we must also address the public health crisis that racism presents.”

Now, that’s more than a little ironic, considering the abortion industry kills as many black people every four days as the Ku Klux Klan killed in 150 years. Between 1882 and 1968, there were reportedly 3,446 lynchings of black people in the United States. Today, more black people are killed by white abortionists every three days than all who were lynched in those years.
According to an Abortion Surveillance Report released by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 2011, black women make up 14 percent of the childbearing population, but 36 percent of those obtaining abortions.
Arizona State Representative Walt Blackman, commenting on the figures, noted that at a ratio of 474 abortions per 1,000 live births, black women have the highest ratio of any group in the country.
“When you use those percentages, it indicates that of the over 44 million abortions since the 1973 Roe vs Wade Supreme Court ruling, 19 million black babies were aborted,” he said. “African Americans are just under 13 percent of the United States population.”
Blackman went on to note that the Guttmacher Institute claimed there were 360,000 black babies aborted in 2011, while the CDC said 287,072 blacks died that year from other causes. In other words, abortion is the leading cause of death among blacks thanks to the abortion industry.
So, as Planned Parenthood said, “We must continue to demand accountability, justice and an end to the inequality that continues to define every moment of life for Black America…”
Indeed, every moment of life matters.
