Last month Muslim activist Linda Sarsour gave a speech in Sacramento in which she urged Muslims to become political because “Muhammad was a human rights activist,” and Trump a fascist. The self-described “Islamophobe’s worst nightmare” went on to claim that Islam has always been an “anti-racist, feminist, and empowering religion,” and that our modern understanding of human rights are unnecessary because Islam already teaches these things. Sarsour explained: “I go to a lot of mosques or community centers and this is what they say to me. They say: ‘Sister Linda, we know that you’re very political, but in my mosque,…

Dr Douglas Farrow said when Canada passed same-sex marriage legislation, consequential amendments to existing law followed. Among those consequential amendments was the language of natural parents and natural parent/child relations. According to Dr Farrow, such language was “struck from Canadian law and replaced with legal parent, legal parent/child relationships.” “Now you can see when that happens that the power of the state is hugely enhanced,” Dr Farrow added. “Hence the question asked by our own chief justice: ‘Who owns the children?’ Increasingly, the answer is the state owns the children and allots them, as it were.” WATCH:

Woodhouse posted a video…

Defaming Mohammed exceeds the limits of free speech, “goes beyond the permissible limits of an objective debate” and “could stir up prejudice and put at risk religious peace,” the European Court of Human Rights ruled on Thursday. The ruling came after the seven-judge panel upheld an Austrian court’s decision to convict a woman for calling Mohammed a paedophile. The 47-year-old woman from Vienna, known only as Mrs S, reportedly held two seminars titled, “Basic Information on Islam,” in which she detailed the marriage between Mohammad and his six-year-old wife, Aisha. According to reports, Mrs S told her class that Mohammad…

A protester outside a Pennsylvania Trump rally has told a female reporter that he could throw her to the ground and rape her if he wanted because he has “rights.” Kaitlin Bennett, director of Liberty Hangouts, was conducting an interview with the man when he reached out and touched her shoulder. When Bennett asked the man not to touch her, the man responded, “I want to touch you… I’m allowed to.” At that point a bystander quickly stepped in and told the man he was not allowed to touch her. “Yes I am,” the protester retorted. “I can throw her…

Christians who claim that homosexuality can be “fixed” could soon find themselves being prosecuted as the Victorian government orders an unprecedented inquiry into gay conversion therapy. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the inquiry will capture registered or unregistered counsellors, as well as faith-based ministries, who treat homosexuality as a disorder, along with anyone purporting to convert LGBTI people through therapeutic means. In celebration of Pride Month, SodaStream released a series of limited edition “Love is Love” bottles portraying same-sex families. Lyle Shelton from the Australian Conservatives linked to the announcement saying, “This also celebrates forced motherlessness, something civil society should never celebrate. But we are in a brave new world that crushes the rights of children and punishes anyone who does not celebrate the new world order.” SodaStream Australia responded to Shelton’s comment by suggesting his concern for motherless children comes from the wrong side of history. “Lyle, mate! Let’s take your conversation offline, and back to an era when this SodaStream…

Last year, before being banned from the U.K., Lauren Southern attended a Women’s March in London to ask protesters a fairly simple question: “Would you rather women’s rights or Islam?” You won’t believe the responses. Watch:

“Islamophobia? Under Islam I was raped, I was put in prison, I was lashed, I was beaten, I was sold into marriage, I was literally broken down into pieces and I had to build myself back up. Do you really think my fear is irrational? I have every single right and reason to fear this ideology.” Aynaz Anni Cyrus Do you remember when Theresa May suggested, Sharia teaching is being “misused and exploited” to discriminate against Muslim women, but insisted that many British people “benefit a great deal” from the strict law system? Let us introduce you to Aynaz Anni…

Back in 2011, Mark Steyn spoke to the Institute of Public Affairs. Steyn’s speech is now more than five years old, but perhaps more relevant today than ever. “Back in 1215, Magna Carta Libertatum couldn’t have made it plainer, real human rights are restraints that the people place upon the king. We understood that eight centuries ago. Today, we’ve entirely perverted and corrupted the principle. We’re undermining real human rights, like freedom of speech, and replacing them with ersatz rights, that rather than restraining the king, give him vastly increased state power to restrain the rights of his subjects. It’s an abomination…
