Up to 24 people have reportedly been injured in a chaotic rush to evacuate a church in Germany after a man stormed the service during Easter celebrations.
Initial reports claimed the man entered St Paul church in Munich and set off fireworks inside the building while shouting “Allahu Akbar”. Those reports, however, have not been confirmed.
Photographs and video footage of the aftermath were posted to social media, showing the church floor littered in debris. An image also appeared to show the suspect being detained by police at the scene.
