We might have a basic idea of what people mean when they refer to themselves as Republican, Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, Libertarian, and so on. But is there any reason we should be limited to the categories usually offered us? Perhaps there is a better option. During a lecture at New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho, Doug Wilson said, things in our public life are so gummed up that he believes we can openly call…

Coincidentally, three-years-ago also happened to be 2016, the same year that Bill Clinton was campaigning alongside Hillary for the Presidency. There are few things left in our society that the woke progressives haven’t deemed “racist” or “oppressive.” One might imagine that something as seemingly unbias and absolute as mathematics might be safe from their life-draining claws. But where there’s reality untouched, these folks will somehow find a way to infuse their corrosive influence. Students from K-12 could soon be taught that math has become a racist instrument of white supremacy, used in systems of power and oppression to disenfranchise people of color, according to a new curriculum proposed by the Seattle school district. The preliminary Math Ethnic Studies framework document,…

I largely agree with Ben Shapiro’s consistent criticism of Donald Trump’s ‘fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants’ approach to foreign policy. Trump appears to ride roughshod, giving the impression of impulsiveness, or worse that he hasn’t considered the law of unintended consequences. However, a lot of recent criticism coming from both sides of politics, concerning the Trump administration’s decision to “withdraw” U.S Troops from Syria, ignore the plight of refugees and push aside the fact that Turkey is still an official ally of the United States. As signatories of NATO, they are strategic partners. The recent advance of the Turks into northern Syria wasn’t a…
