Childcare centres to ban toy guns and weapon-shaped Lego
The Australia Childcare Alliance NSW has reportedly announced plans to place further restrictions on the use of warlike toys, such as replica swords, guns, and even Lego in childcare centres. President of the Australian Childcare Alliance NSW Lyn Connolly told The Daily Telegraph, that zero tolerance is the norm for violent behaviour and weapons. “Early childhood education and care centres believe in exploration, not expiration and in development, not destroying,” she said. The move comes after child psychologists claim there is currently no evidence to suggest a link between playing with toy guns as a child and committing acts of…

A group that call themselves YARD, or Yelling At Racist Dogs, has threatened patrons attending a Melbourne speaking event featuring Stefan Molyneux and Lauren Southern. A post on the group’s Facebook page warns, “What we do at YARD is stand outside events like this and hurl personal abuse at you while you’re in the queue.” “We will individually attack you for your beliefs, appearance, clothing, and anything else out-of-the-ordinary we notice while you wait,” they added. “The abuse is individual – you will be targeted.” The group also said they intend on capturing the abuse on film, which will likely…
Islamic Council of Victoria has received $2.4 million in state grants
The Islamic Council of Victoria has received $2.4 million in taxpayer funds since 2010-11, a state government investigation found. The inquiry was launched after it was revealed last year that the Islamic Council called for taxpayer-funded “safe spaces” for Muslims who wish to vent extreme speech. According to the Herald Sun, the report which they obtained under the Freedom of Information laws, found “the Islamic body had probably used public funds to cross-subsidies some ‘unfunded activities’ as was common across the not-for-profit sector.” Taxpayer funded programs for the Islamic Council included a $570,000 “empower Muslim youth” grant. From 2012-16, a…

Watch: Senator Cory Bernardi on Australia’s immigration intake: ‘Halve it, straight up!’
Senator Cory Bernardi seems to be one of the only politicians making any sense when it comes to Australia’s immigration intake. Senator Bernardi told Andrew Bolt, “The first step would be to halve it, straight up. You just say no, we’re going to come back to 100-thousand and then we’re going to identify the areas in which we should be focusing.” Watch:

Fathers are superfluous since same-sex marriage redefined family
An advertisement recently released by Huggies nappies features a baby boy and his two lesbian mothers. Noticeably absent from the scene is the child’s father. But why should that matter? The baby has two mothers, and one with a fairly masculine haircut, so what’s the issue? What LGBTQ propaganda continues to imply is the superfluous nature of fathers and their replaceable role. There is nothing inherent or unique to being a father. There is nothing a father brings to the rearing of a child that a second mother couldn’t imitate. There was always going to be a knock-on effect. You…
Privatise the ABC: ‘Having a public broadcaster doesn’t make sense in a modern era’
Selling off the ABC is not a new idea, but it’s increasing in popularity. Dr Chris Berg recently told Michael McLaren on 4BC, “In our analysis, it just doesn’t hold up anymore. Having a public broadcaster doesn’t make sense in a modern era.” “The idea that we have to pay for biased journalism is a really big problem. I think that is what really offends people.” Listen:
RMIT Professor slams the ABC: ‘they genuinely believe a very warped and distorted view of the world to be true’
ABC employees are five times more likely to be greens voters than the general population, according to RMIT Professor Sinclair Davidson. Professor Davidson told Sky News, “we’re not talking center-left here. We’re actually talking very hard left-wing views here.” “To be quite honest, the hard left view the rest of us with contempt. I mean, they genuinely can’t tell the difference between mass murderers in Scandinavia and News Ltd journalists. They genuinely think they’re of the same sort of thing.” “Why do we as taxpayers hand over $1 billion year after year to fund a government program not fit for…
Customers furious as NBN executives receive $66 million in bonuses
Do they deserve it? Australian NBN executives and staff were reportedly paid $66 million in bonuses, despite thousands of complaints for poor service and slow internet speeds. In April the Telecommunications ombudsman report showed there were 22,827 complaints from July to December 2017. That’s close to a 203.9 per cent increase compared to the same period the previous year. Last week it was revealed one third of NBN users surveyed regret their “upgrade.” The survey of 958 Australians showed, if given the option, 34 per cent would go back to their previous setup. Pay-rise for Australia’s top public servants; Salaries set to grow by up to $17.5k each
Rowan Dean, The Outsiders, “The salary of Australia’s top public servants will grow by up to $17,500 each in a round of pay hikes that have nothing whatsoever, as far as I can tell, to do with merit of performance. “At the same time the NBN, that great success story, have awarded themselves with your money, $66-million worth of bonuses… Families and small businesses are forced to tighten belts, while these public servants will be enjoying these massive pay-rises.” Watch: The salary of Australia's top public servants is set to grow by up to $17,500.@rowandean: Families and small businesses are…
Senator Cory Bernardi praises Denmark’s burqa ban: ‘it’s a hideous and anonymising garment’
Senator Cory Bernardi has said he’s “right on board” with Denmark’s recent decision to ban the Islamic full-face veil in public spaces. Senator Bernardi told Triple M: You shouldn’t be able to cover your face in public buildings. If you want to do it in your backyard, that’s OK. But what’s the point of having security cameras on our streets or CCTV if you don’t know who’s hiding underneath it? There’s been evidence that criminals have been using it… It is the flag of Islamic fundamentalism and we don’t want Islamic fundamentalism in this country. Listen: Senator @corybernardi is right…
Horrific: 27 babies left to die after failed abortions, some potentially as old as 34-weeks
AT LEAST 27 babies were born alive and ‘left to die’ without medical treatment after failed abortion procedures in Western Australia. Some of the babies were potentially as old as 34-weeks, parliamentary questioning revealed. More than 7,000 people called for an inquiry to investigate the ‘systemic failures’ that allowed at least 26 [at the time of the petition] Western Australians to be left to die, WA Today reported. The petition was tabled by pro-life parliamentarian Nick Goiran who wants the deaths to be thoroughly investigated, especially after it was revealed there was “no record of medical intervention or resuscitation.” Mr Goiran…
Watch: Michael Kroger destroys Bill Shorten: ‘this guy is a prisoner to political correctness’
Michael Kroger has blasted Bill Shorten after the Labor leader suggested too many indigenous children are being taken away from their families. “The last thing they need is some know-it-all whitefellas to come in paternalistic, as has been happening for 200 years, and saying, ‘listen you’re just children and we’ll just fix it all for you,’” Shorten said. Kroger told Sky News, “This was a disgraceful performance by Shorten, and I might say, the low point of his leadership. The absolute low point of his leadership. This guy is a prisoner to political correctness and he is a danger to…
Whites segregated from people of colour at a University of Melbourne dance performance
A University of Melbourne dance performance segregates white audience members from people of colour and makes white patrons sign a declaration that states, ‘I acknowledge where I stand’ before they’re allowed to enter the theatre. According to The Australian, the performance titled Where I Stand, aims to highlight the systemic racism indigenous people and people of colour have experienced in society and throughout history. Creator and student Isabella Mason said, “The (white) audience in the foyer are invited to go through a process of accepting/transitioning/cleansing similar to a right of passage. I do not consider the ritual in the foyer…
Eight babies saved outside abortion clinic

The group, known as Project 139, took to their Facebook page yesterday revealing parents made the decision to follow through with their pregnancy as a result of a conversation with a counselor outside an abortion clinic. “We are there to give them another choice, to show them how abortion is not their only option,” the group said. The ministry also extends support once a family make the decision not to abort their baby. “We have been able to give to…
Prostitute receives Order of Australia, says ‘the next big fight is to win anti-discrimination protection’
Australia, you’re morally bankrupt. Sex worker Julie Bates is admitted to the Order of Australia (AO), an award granted for achievement and merit in service to Australia or humanity. Bates, also known as Darlo Debby, laughed at the thought of being the first Australian with a background in sex work to get an AO. “Well, the only one who has acknowledge their sex work,” she told the Sydney Morning Herald. The 68-year old reportedly received the award in recognition of her work in championing the rights of sex workers and mobilising the sex industry against the spread of HIV/AIDS. According to the…
Senator Cory Bernardi says, migration is ‘too high’ and welfare entitlements are ‘too generous’
Migration levels are too high and welfare entitlements are too generous, according to Senator Cory Bernardi, and many, many other concerned Australians. Australia’s current intake is around 230,000-240,000 per year. That’s a million additional people in four years. A figure close to the population of the city of Adelaide, which took two hundred years to develop. According to Bernardi, “governments haven’t been able to keep up with the infrastructure demands on it, and there’s been a too generous welfare entitlement.” “If you reduce the level of migration firstly, until we can catch up, that’s one positive thing. Secondly we need…
Watch: Senator Cory Bernardi defends Sonia Kruger: ‘Muslim is not a race’
Senator Cory Bernardi has told Sky News he will defend Sonia Kruger’s right to freedom of speech after the Civil and Administrative Tribunal refused an application by the Nine Network to have a racial vilification complaint dismissed. The complaint came in 2016 after Kruger endorsed an article by columnist Andrew Bolt during a segment of the Today Show. “I mean, personally, I think Andrew Bolt has a point here, that there is a correlation between the number of people who, you know, are Muslim in a country and the number of terrorist attacked,” she said. “Now I have a lot…
A tale of two photos
In order to drive home something of the horror of the Nazi regime in Germany (1933-1945), it is fairly commonplace in textbooks and presentations to include graphic photos of Nazi brutality. One of the most piercing is this one of a Nazi soldier shooting a Ukrainian Jew, with the attendant picture of a mass grave. We have all seen photos of Belsen and Auschwitz, as well as horrors from the Burmese railway project supervised by the Japanese. One of the few films I have sat through was one based on Solzhenitsyn’s One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich. The…
