Avi Yemini and Sydney Watson have been detained and interrogated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection after the pair entered the country to expose dishonest reporting by Comedy Central.
“Upon arrival at Los Angeles, I was DETAINED and INTERROGATED by the FBI and am currently waiting to be DEPORTED from the USA,” Yemini said on Twitter. “The informant was Comedy Central,” he added.

According to Sydney Watson, the pair were separated on arrival and questioned at length about their intentions to be “violent.”
Authorities eventually released Watson but held Yemini for up to eight hours before deciding to deport him back to Australia.
Comedy Central got @OzraeliAvi AND me detained & questioned by the FBI in the US after we came here to expose their dishonest practices.
They defamed Avi & allowed Jim Jefferies to produce fake media with ZERO repercussions.
Now Avi is being sent back to Aus.
Appalling.

For real. They separated Avi and me and sent us off in different directions after questioning me at length about our intentions to be "violent".
Avi has been in their custody since 7am (it's now 3pm)

Yemini and Watson were in the country to address a fake news report by Comedy Central after Jim Jefferies attempted to smear Yemini as an Islamophobe.
Yemini later released hidden footage of his interview with Jefferies in which Jefferies mocked Muhammad and joked about the death of Muslim babies.
The video which was uploaded less than a month ago has had over 2.1 million views and was featured on a recent episode of Louder With Crowder.
