According to the Washington Post, Strasboug has been a high-profile target for Islamic terror. “In 2000, al-Qaeda-linked operatives planned to target the Strasbourg Cathedral and Christmas market on New Year’s Eve…”
Similarly, in 2016, 12 people were kill and 48 others injured when an Islamic terrorist ploughed a truck into a Christmas market in Berlin.
In a video that’s been recently circulating on social media an American Muslim woman claims Christmas is a harmful celebration to Muslims.
“As Muslims we believe that nobody is above god in legislating. So, when we allow these things to happen, we have to be very careful because if you have a celebration like Christmas– In Christmas, what is it?
“It’s the celebration — it’s not giving gifts, having fun, and singing carols — it’s actually the celebration of the birth of the Son of God, who is God himself in flesh… So, when we say that this is OK we are not ‘respecting’ the religion, we’re participating… When you participate you are saying this is valid, this is acceptable…”
