A recommendation for the kids this Christmas.

“Once upon a time there lived a man and a woman. They were the happiest people on the planet. True, they were the only people on the planet, but they were still terrifically happy. Unfortunately, things didn’t stay happy and wonderful for long…”

With Christmas just around the corner, it’s probably time we all start thinking about gifts. And if you’re like me, the bulk of your Christmas purchases will be primarily for the kids in your family.

But whether they’re your children, your grandkids, or your nephews and nieces, knowing what to get the little ones isn’t always easy, so we thought we’d offer a recommendation.

There are a lot of great children’s books, but many have said The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings Us Back to the Garden is one of the very best. And it is one of the best because parents, not just kids, will enjoy the journey.

Author Kevin DeYoung, along with award-winning artist Don Clark, will help you and your children make sense of the various stories in the Bible, connecting the dots from the garden of Eden to Christ’s death on the cross, and on to the new heavens and new earth.

“There is something about this book,” Doug Wilson said. “It has drawing power. Set it out on the coffee table, and watch people go right to it.”
