Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez held a town hall in Corona, New York on Thursday, where she was confronted by a hysterical woman who suggested the only way to deal with the climate crisis is to start eating babies.

The woman, who was wearing a shirt that read, “Save the planet, eat the children”, warned Ocasio-Cortez that politicians aren’t acting quick enough to combat increasing CO2 levels.

“Even if we would bomb Russia, we still have too many people. Too much pollution,” the woman said. “So, we have to get rid of the babies. That’s a big problem. Just stopping having babies is not enough, we need to eat the babies. This is very serious.”

The incredibly bizarre video has left more than a few folks scratching their heads. Is this a brilliant parody or a genuine left-wing lunatic who really believes eating kids will solve the “climate crisis”?

Is any idea too absurd for the Left?

Only last month a Swedish scientist proposed cannibalism as a means of combating global warming. Not long after, Bernie Sanders suggested curbing population growth by paying for women in the Third World to kill their unborn babies.

Whether it’s satire or reality, the reactions show just how difficult it now is to tell the difference between the two. Even AOC seemed a little unsure if the woman is genuine or not.

“Seems like a normal AOC supporter to me,” Donald Trump Jr tweeted in response to the video.

“AOC is a Wack Job!” President Trump replied.
