WATCH: Man shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ stabs multiple people in Sydney CBD

Multiple people in Sydney’s CBD have reportedly been stabbed by a man shouting “Allahu Akbar”.

Footage uploaded to social media shows the attacker with a large blade standing on top of a car shouting “Allahu Akbar” as members of the public flee.

The knifeman, covered in blood, was eventually subdued by bystanders who pinned him to the ground until police arrived.

“He just stabbed a chick in broad daylight,” a shocked witness at the scene said.

Police are advising the public to avoid King Street and Clarence Street, Sydney CBD.
