A United Nations official has suggested COVID-19 is due to a lack of climate action.
Earlier this month, the UN Environment Programme shared a quote from Executive Director Inger Andersen, claiming that nature is sending a message through coronavirus.
“In a way, nature is sending us a message with COVID-19,” she said. “We have pushed nature into a corner, we have encroached on ecosystems. We need to take care of nature.”
This is what our contemporary doomsday prophets look like, folks. They march through the streets with large placards that read, “Repent of climate inaction or perish”.
They prey on the ignorant and the naive, crying out, “Pay your indulgences or suffer the consequences of your sins.” They assure the vulnerable that if they submit and obey and do as they say, they will live.
Indeed, there is nothing new under the sun (Ecc. 1:9).
In a way, nature is sending us a message with #COVID19.
