Australian Labor and the Greens, together with crossbench MPs have passed new laws making it easier for Leftist doctors to order medical evacuations of illegal immigrants held in offshore processing facilities. Prime Minister Scott Morrison slammed the move in a press conference, calling it “proof positive that Bill Shorten and the Labor Party do not have the mettle, do not have what is required and do not understand what is necessary to ensure that Australia’s border protection framework and broader national security interests can be managed by the Labor Party.” Our border protection framework works. We stopped the boats, stopped…

I experienced a variety of feelings at one of the first live events I organised as an independent activist, one I hosted with Mark Latham in the middle of 2017, when a gentleman stood up during the Q&A portion of the evening and said for everyone’s information, “My name’s Chris, I’m an atheist, and I believe Australia needs to be re-evangelised.” On one hand you could have knocked me over with a feather, often being more familiar with irrational aggression from atheists than affection. On the other hand, he was substantiating a belief I’ve long held that the real world…

Thousands of students reportedly skipped school on Friday to protest against the Australian Government’s inaction on climate change. The rally came despite Prime Minister Scott Morrison urging students to stay in school. “Kids should go to school,” Morrison said. “That’s what we’re committed to. We don’t support the idea of kids not going to school, to participate in things that can be dealt with outside of school. “We do not support our schools being turned into parliaments. What we want is more learning in schools and less activism in schools,” he said. Students rallied with signs that read, “F U…

The Global Compact on Migration is said to be the “legalisation of mass migration” by declaring migration a human right. The compact is also said to be the “legal framework on which the participating countries commit themselves to build new legislation.” What makes the migration pact even more concerning is that it seeks to criminalise criticism of migration, by individuals and media outlets. “One basic element of this new agreement is the extension of the definition of ‘hate speech’… Criticism of migration will become a criminal offense. And media outlets that give room to criticism of migration can be shut…

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has hit back after Muslim leaders, including the Grand Mufti, decided to boycott a meeting with the Prime Minister to discuss terrorism prevention. The boycott comes after Morrison called on Islamic leaders to do more to stop terrorism in Australia. We all have responsibilities to make Australia safe, and that means making sure Muslim communities do…

It was reported Saturday that Labor MP Anne Aly was highly critical of the Prime Minister for how he handled the terror attack in, where else but, Labor’s Victoria. Touted as a counter-terrorism expert, the leftist Islam apologist accused the PM of ‘dividing the community’ by pointing out that “the greatest threat to our way of life is radical, violent, extremist Islam.” Of course, fundamental Islam is more than a bit of a problem for all culturally Christian nations where it has any significant presence; and the bigger the presence, the bigger the problem. The sober reality which doesn’t fit…

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said it’s just an “excuse” to blame Melbourne’s recent Islamic terrorist attack on mental health issues. In an interview on Studio 10, the Prime Minister said, “This bloke, radicalised here in Australia with extreme Islam, took a knife and cut down a fellow Australian in Bourke Street. I mean, I’m not going to make excuses for that… “He was a terrorist. He was a radical extremist terrorist who took a knife to another Australian because he’d been radicalised in this country. We can’t give him excuses, and we can’t allow others. These other issues…

Muslim Labor MP Anne Aly has criticised Scott Morrison for his response to the recent Islamic terrorist attack in Melbourne saying, the Prime Minister “needs a little terrorism 101 before pointing fingers at radical Islam.” The comments were made after the Prime Minister rightly called on Muslim leaders to take “special responsibility” for stamping out radicalism in their communities. “I am the first to protect religious freedom in this country, but it also means I must be the first to call out religious extremism,” the Prime Minister said. “Religious extremism takes many forms around the world, and no religion is…

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison led a Melbourne church in prayer over the weekend, praying in particular for Indonesian tsunami victims and Australian farmers suffering from drought. “Lord, we just pray for your spirit and your presence there [in Suawesi],” the Prime Minister said. “That you’ll bring comfort to despair, that you’ll bring insight to confusion. “That you’ll be with President Widodo and you’ll give him what he needs to comfort his people and to see their way through this terrible, terrible crisis. We pray for your blessing on them this morning, Lord. And Lord, we just thank you for…

“It appears that in many cases, there has not been ‘valid consent’ because of undue pressure, coercion, manipulation and withholding of risks. This is wicked and shameful, particularly considering that we are supposed to be a democratic and free society.”

“The only way to separate religion and politics in a country with millions of religionists, and many who wish to go into politics or political lobbying, is basically by removing the civil rights of religious people, and removing any possibility that they can have any influence in politics at all.”

Australian political history has a lesson for any American politician who chooses to leap before they look, and act on radical calls to abolish law enforcement. Last week, ex-Labor, Gillard-era government minister, Joseph Ludwig was found to have acted with ‘misfeasance’ (‘the wrongful exercise of law’; or in laymen’s terms: an abuse of power) when in June 2011 – with his approval, and under his oversight – the Gillard government put a blanket ban on live cattle exports. Ludwig’s decision was a ‘response to public outcry over footage collected by activists and broadcast on the ABC’s Four Corners, which [appeared…

In breaking news, The Daily Wire is reporting that President Trump is halting America’s funding to the World Health Organisation (WHO). The U.S. President is reported as saying: Today I’m instructing my administration to halt funding of the World Health Organization while a review is conducted to assess the World Health Organization’s role in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the Coronavirus. Everybody knows what’s going on there,” Trump said. “American taxpayers provided between $400 million and $500 million per year to the W.H.O. In contrast, China contributes $40 million a year and even less as the organization’s…

Escaping persecution and daily threats to our freedoms and rights under a suppressive Communist government, as a refugee family, we so appreciated the liberties that Australia afforded to us on our arrival. That’s why it is so painful for me, as a legal academic and lobbyist, to watch the current violations of our freedoms taking place, which are slowly corroding our fundamental freedoms and rights – all in the name of fear. As rational, thinking fee citizens involved in upholding the rule of law and engaging in political rights, it is important to take a step back as a nation…

Kristina Keneally is hopelessly muddled about how freedom works, specifically freedom of speech and freedom of religion. I’m sure she’s had it explained to her before, but inexplicably comprehension yet eludes her – an alarming observation to make of a Federal Senator. I think leftists are often so mired in the prejudice of their anti-freedom propaganda they often end up shadow boxing, fighting against things no serious person believes. Take, for example, yesterday’s eleven-part Twitter challenge to the Prime Minister doubling down on her insistence that someone who tweeted something vile he then regretted, deleted and apologised for three years…

A UK High Court Judge has exonerated foster parents who are helping their four-year-old foster son transition to a girl. The ruling comes despite social workers claiming the parents were actively encouraging and prematurely diagnosing the boy with gender dysphoria. According to the Daily Mail, a number of social workers were attempting to have the child removed from his foster parents after they came to the belief that the couple were “actively encouraging” the child and “acted in a precipitate manner in relation to perceived gender dysphoria.” Life Site News reported, “the foster couple had sent [the child] to school…

What do Islam and the ideological left have in common? The former reviles homosexuality, secularism and amorality. The latter embraces these whilst shunning theocracy and self-determination. It’s an unusual marriage, but one of convenience. Islam needs an enabler to raise its profile in the sympathetic West through the peaceful promotion of its less controversial side, and the left craves for power, hoping the odd marriage with Islam will bolster their voting base. The Christchurch massacre has been an opportunity for both Islam and the left to exploit the moral superiority they both claim over anyone with conservative values. The outrage…
