Last year News.com.au posted an absurd article titled, My dog is just as important as your kid. The piece contains some real zingers, like: If there was a fire and I had to choose between saving my dog or your son, I’d save my dog. I’ve had people tsk-tsk me, giving me crap for paying for doggie daycare one day a week… So why the hell are dog owners treated like second-rate citizens in this so-called pet-loving country of ours? Our puppers aren’t allowed in so many places, like on public transport, even though the ratio of well-behaved and clean dogs to…

“In argument about moral problems, relativism is the first refuge of the scoundrel.” Roger Scruton No culture can stay afloat without a moral compass to guide them. In fact, Peter Kreeft argues, “No culture in history has ever embraced moral relativism and survived. Our own culture, therefore, will either (1) be the first, and disprove history’s clearest lesson, or (2) persist in its relativism and die, or (3) repent of its relativism and live. There is no other option.” In the following video, Mark Dice demonstrates how easily moral relativists embrace the most extreme examples of immorality. Michael Novak wrote: “For…

Since the Australian Parliament decided to thumb its nose at God by legalising same-sex “marriage,” I have been asked numerous times how we as Christians should respond. As I pondered this question I have found myself coming up with six ways in which I will personally respond to this embracing of darkness. 1. Be Family Focused I am convinced that family is the building block of society. If we want to see our community strengthened then we need to have strong, godly and moral families.  As such, I will be seeking to love my wife as Christ loves the Church…

Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, opens his doors to everyone. “People of all walks of life are always welcome in the store… I serve everybody, I just don’t make cakes for every event,” Phillips has said. Phillips is a Christian, which means he refuses to use his artistry to decorate cakes that endorse a message contrary to his faith and conviction. “There are certain messages that I don’t create,” Phillips states. “I don’t do cakes for Halloween, I don’t do cakes that would promote sexual things, or anti-American things, or things that would disparage other people, including [those] that identify as…

What if 4D ultrasound scans were mandatory for women seeking an abortion? How many mothers would go ahead with the “procedure,” if they first saw this: When is it okay to kill this baby?

Do you remember when advocates of same-sex marriage mocked the Coalition for Marriage for this video? Well, I hope Melissa Kang, Associate professor at University of Technology Sydney, wasn’t one of them. In an article titled, We have marriage equality, now we need LGBTQI+-inclusive sexuality education in schools, Kang argues: Australia voted in favour of equality. The marriage equality bill has passed, and the mandate to deliver inclusive sexuality education in schools is more pressing than ever. LGBTQI+-inclusive sexuality education should embrace diversity in the classroom, the staff-room and in whole-of-school policies. LGBTQI+-inclusive sexuality education reduces negative stereotypes and biases, creating…

On December 2, 2017 more than 5,000 people from over 100 churches united to pray at the largest abortion clinic in North Carolina. In the past two years more than 23,000 people have prayed at the clinic. Since then, 800 families have chosen life for their child.

Author, Pat Miller, once said, “The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way, the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed.” Paula Gerber, Professor of Human Rights Law, at Monash University, has recently stated: “…once the celebrations from Australia achieving marriage equality have subsided, the fight for LGBTI people to live free from discrimination will continue.” So, what does…

The Australian Parliament votes in favour of redefining marriage and how do same-sex marriage supporters celebrate? By taking to their Twitter feeds and tweeting, “Eat sh-t Lyle.” The phrase has been tweeted so many times that it’s now trending globally. And given the behaviour of the YES supporters during the course of the survey, I don’t think anyone is even slightly surprised. "Now I am become Lyle, the eater of shit." — Benjamin Law ? (@mrbenjaminlaw) December 7, 2017 Eat shit, Lyle. — Clementine Ford (@clementine_ford) November 14, 2017 eat shit lyle — dan nolan (@dannolan) December 7, 2017 eat…

When a porn star hinted at the health risks linked to homosexual sex, it ultimately led to her suspected suicide. Warning: Graphic content. A “porn star” is dead after she sparked outrage online for suggesting she would not have sex with gay porn actors for “safety” reasons. “Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety,” she tweeted. “I’m not putting my body at risk.” The woman was then bombarded with insults and accusations of homophobia. “How am I homophobic…?” she asked. “Not wanting to have sex with gay men is not homophobic; they don’t want…

In a PragerU video titled ‘Why Isn’t There a Palestinian State?’ David Brog, Executive Director of the Maccabee Task Force, provides the following breakdown: 1914 World War I and the break up of the Ottoman Empire. 1918 Britain takes control of the Middle East. 1936 Arabs Revolt against the British and the Jews. Peta Credlin has called The Crimes Legislation Amendment (Sexual Crimes against Children and Community Protection Measures) Bill 2017, “the most significant reform to the legal framework concerning child sex offenders in decades.” The Bill would introduce mandatory minimum penalties for child sex offenders and repeat offenders, extend their jail time, and make it less likely pedophiles would be granted parole. While the current laws may appear strong, Credlin suggests, the courts water them down in sentencing. “Since 2012, only 58.7% of convicted Commonwealth child sex offenders received a term of imprisonment.” Of those who did, the most common period of actual…

A Judeo-Christian value system is of infinite importance. That’s because the God-based value system renders human beings infinitely more valuable than any humanistic value system. As Dennis Prager points out, “once you get rid of Judeo-Christian values, there’s no reason for elevating human worth over that of animals.” If there is no God, human beings are ultimately no more valuable than the materials they’re composed of. But if we’re created in God’s image, then every individual human life has infinite value. In the following video, Prager demonstrates how “our secular post-Judeo-Christian society has rendered human beings less significant than at any…

Fascism. It’s a term we hear thrown around a lot today, and it’s particularly hurled towards those on the Right. In fact, Dinesh D’Souza suggests, since the 1970s, ever Republican president – and virtually every Republican – has been accused of being a fascist. But what does fascism actually mean? Where does it come from? The answer may surprise you.

Another day, another high-profile personality accused of sexual assault. But it really shouldn’t take us by surprise. Matt Walsh has highlighted some shocking statistics about porn usage in his piece: We’re A Nation Of Porn Addicts. Why Are We Surprised By The Perverts In Our Midst? What’s even more staggering is that the results are based on just one porn website. The stats reveal: In 2016 over four and a half billion hours were dedicated to porn. There were over 90 billion video views. A total of 44,000 visitors every minute of every day. 500 thousand years worth of porn was consumed…

It’s not easy viewing, but the entire fight, including the bloody end, can be viewed below: In an interview following the fight, Brents said: I’ve fought a lot of women and have never felt the strength that I felt in a fight as I did that night. I can’t answer whether it’s because she was born a…

During a heated exchange about calls for gender neutral language to be used in sports, Peter FitzSimons compared the use of gendered language to children with Down Syndrome being called, ‘mongoloids.’ “Can I take an example? It used to be children with Down Syndrome were called ‘mongoloid children.’ Was it a good move? Do you agree or not agree? I rest my case… When children with Down Syndrome used to be called ‘mongoloid children’ and it was changed to say ‘Down Syndrome children’ people like you howled like you just did because you didn’t get it.” Was FitzSimons’ comparison fair?…

When Herschelle Gibbs dropped Steve Waugh in the 1999 Cricket World Cup one of the most misquoted quotes was born. It’s commonly understood that Waugh said, ‘How does it feel to have just dropped the World Cup?’ But, according to the man himself, the truth is it was more like, ‘That’s going to cost your team today, Hersch’. Regardless of what particular version you go with, surely, this time, Dasher has done his dash – at least with the Australian voting public. As David Flint has recently argued in his excellent article, “He would be disqualified under section 44 of…

I will mail this letter to the Attorney General on the day that the Governor General signs into law the redefinition of marriage. Dear Senator Brandis, Today, with profound sadness, as the Governor General signs into law the redefinition of the institution of marriage in the Commonwealth Marriage Act, I resign my status as a Minister of Religion registered under the Act, and relinquish my Celebrant’s Number, T2816. I thereby revoke my right to conduct weddings as a recognised agent of the Act, and sever any other official connection to it. I resign for three reasons: 1)  The “Commonwealth Marriage…

Back in 2011, Mark Steyn spoke to the Institute of Public Affairs. Steyn’s speech is now more than five years old, but perhaps more relevant today than ever. “Back in 1215, Magna Carta Libertatum couldn’t have made it plainer, real human rights are restraints that the people place upon the king. We understood that eight centuries ago. Today, we’ve entirely perverted and corrupted the principle. We’re undermining real human rights, like freedom of speech, and replacing them with ersatz rights, that rather than restraining the king, give him vastly increased state power to restrain the rights of his subjects. It’s an abomination…
