Pastor jailed for preaching against homosexuality
A pastor in Cape Town has been sentence to 30 days in prison after disregarding court orders barring him from preaching about homosexuality. After making ‘hateful’ remarks in 2014, Rev Oscar Bougardt reached a settlement with the Human Rights Commission, agreeing not to make any further negative comments about the LGBTQ community. I may enter the court room and not come home to my family – my crime, preaching the Bible. However, last week the Equality Court found Bougardt continued to refer to homosexuality as ‘perverted.’ Bougardt also advocated the criminalisation of homosexual practices, reportedly suggesting a 14-year prison term,…
Pulse shooting survivor says he’s no longer gay after finding Christ
On June 12, 2016, Muslim terrorist Omar Mateen, entered the Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. At about 2am, Mateen opened fire on the patrons, killing 49 people and wounding 53 others. Luis Ruiz was present on the night of the shooting. Two of his close friends were shot dead. Ruiz said, “I should have been number 50.” Ruiz felt he had been given another chance at life, and that led him to reflect on the life he was living. “Going through old pictures of the night of Pulse, I remember my struggles of perversion, heavy drinking to drown…
Primary school exposes children to drag queens and cross-dressing through Drag Queen Story Time
Children at Parson Street Primary School in Bedminster, Bristol, were entertained by a drag queen on World Book Day. The school’s headmaster, Jamie Barry, reportedly invited the drag entertainer from Drag Queen Story Time in order to promote LGBTQ issues to their students aged from three to 11. Drag Queen Story Time’s stated aim is to, “capture the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of children and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.” One mother was quoted as saying, “Lots of parents at the school are not happy about it but the headmaster [Jamie Barry] says there’s…
Christian privilege exists. No, really!
The Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) at George Washington University is set to host a seminar titled, “Christian Privilege: But Our Founding Fathers Were All Christian, Right?!” During the event, the MSSC Associate Director and LGBTQ Resources Director will discuss how Christians have “easier” lives and get “built-in advantages over non-Christians.” I think it’s safe to assume the seminar is going to be a complete dog’s breakfast. These things are only ever intended to divide people, in order to turn them against the dreaded straight, white, Christian male. But what if I told you there are real advantages to being a…
The ABC asks children, what’s it like to be queer?
What’s this? It’s the victim card. What’s that? It’s the fabrication of victimhood to justify one’s own poor behaviour. And it was recently played by the ABC in response to the backlash they received for their racist ‘Privilege Song’ video. “It was just a kid’s show,” they cried. “What sort of grown man gets upset about a children’s program?” Well, on the off chance that anyone out there still buys their garbage, here’s one more glimpse at the “kid’s show” they just can’t comprehend anybody finding objectionable. There are many different sexualities… The word Queer hasn’t always been a positive or…
Why should you believe the Bible?
Why should you believe the Bible? It’s an important question, not only for those who don’t believe, but also for those who already do. It’s an important question because our culture is increasingly rejecting the Bible as the measure of truth and morality. As a result, our freedoms are eroding day by day. Relativism is now widely embraced in place of Christianity. That is, the philosophy that truth and morality are essentially defined by the biggest, noisiest, most vicious mob. It’s time to return to our old paths. It’s time to embrace truth and morality as defined by the Bible,…
Qantas tells staff to avoid gender language, like mum and dad, husband and wife
Qantas has told their employees to use “gender appropriate” language to avoid offending the LGBTQI community. According to the Daily Telegraph, an information booklet, issued by Quanta’s People and Culture group executive Lesley Grant, asks employees to stop using potentially offensive words such as “honey, darling and love.” Terms such as “partner” are also to be used in place of husband and wife, and “parents” instead of mum and dad. Also frowned upon are gender-inappropriate words such as guys, mankind, or chairman. Language can make groups of people invisible. For example, the use of the term chairman can reinforce the idea that…
Students to choose their own gender and race without parental consent
Delaware is preparing to pass a rule that would allow students as young as five to ‘choose’ their own race and gender. Under Regulation 225, LGBTQ activists are pushing to make it a requirement for schools to provide students with access to bathrooms and sports facilities in accordance with their preferred gender – and that, without parental consent. The rule doesn’t require schools to inform parents of any change in gender, if they believe that the parents would not support the decision. Transgender activist, Mark Purpura said the rule is made in the “best interest of the child” as it helps…
Why are companies going gay? And why aren’t gay people offended?
Let’s be honest. Apple are in the business of selling products. They’re a business, and they’re not going to back a cause that threatens to sink them. So, don’t mistake their latest campaign for bravery. They’ve simply joined the plethora of brands now gayifying just about everything they’re offering, automated teller machines are no exception. In fact, thanks to the official YES Campaign, we’ve now been offered a large list of more than 2,000 organisations that are publicly backing LGBTQI issues. It’s no surprise then to see Apple’s latest virtue-signaling campaign called First Dance. A number of short videos have appeared on social media recently,…
GAYTMs are now a thing…
It’s truly remarkable that there is a marketing team out there that thought it would be a good idea for ANZ Australia to take sides in one of the most divisive national debates of our time. Of the 12.7 million Australians who voted in the Same-Sex Marriage survey, 38.4% of votes fell on one side, 61.6% fell on the other. At the risk of offending 4,873,987 potential Australian customers, ANZ Australia has introduced the GAYTM. Yes, they’ve managed to sexualise a bank transaction, although they look more like something from the set of George Clooney’s, Batman and Robin. AGL Energy…
First drag club for children
According to the Daily Mail, a 10-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, is launching Haus of Amazing, the “first and only drag club for kids.” Desmond Napoles, whose drag name is, ‘Desmond the Amazing,’ claims to have been “doing drag since [he] was two years old.” In an interview with Out, Desmond revealed: “Ever since day one… ever since I was able to walk, I used to take my mom’s towels and take her heels and clomp around the house. [I’d] put the towel on my head, wrap a towel around my body and walk the runway down my house.” When…
Planned Parenthood think their supporters are stupid
In the United States, Planned Parenthood performs over 320,000 abortions every year; 887 abortions each day; and 1 abortion every 97 seconds. For every 1 adoption referral, Planned Parenthood commits 160 abortions. Planned Parenthood perform less than 2% of U.S. breast exams; less than 1% of the nation’s pap tests; less than 2% of U.S. cancer screenings for women; 0% mammograms; but a staggering 34.9% of all U.S. abortions. Planned Parenthood receives over half a billion dollars of taxpayer money every year. In a recent Facebook post, the “advocacy and political arm” of the organisation, said: “We should all be deeply…
Disney Introduce the First Male Princess
“It’s a state of mind… He can be a princess if he wants to!”
What comes after same-sex marriage?
What comes after same-sex marriage? You only have to look to the countries that have already redefined the institution to get an idea. Here are twelve examples. Example #1: John Bercow, Speaker of the House of Commons, has argued that the fight for “equality” is not over until churches abandon their faith. “We don’t want to behave like it’s all over [now that SSM is legal]… I still feel we’ll only have proper equal marriage when you can bloody well get married in a church if you want to do so, without having to fight for the equality that should…
In what sense is Safe Schools compulsory?
In what sense is Safe Schools compulsory? The Safe Schools program was designed for a “whole-school approach.” That means, when properly implemented, it ought to reach every aspect of the school and wider community. In fact, the Safe Schools Guide encourages all schools to adopt this broader approach. While the Safe Schools program may not be compulsory for all schools, the “whole-school approach” essentially makes it compulsory for all students once a school decides to participate. [poll id=”2″] The Safe Schools Guide suggests that teachers integrate LGBTQ issues into school assemblies, social media, by displaying posters and stickers celebrating homosexuality,…
