How is it that Australia could co-author a global compact for migration with the United Nations and now say we won’t be signing it? “This is treachery,” Alan Jones told his listeners. Australia is seemingly one signature away from handing our sovereignty with respect to boats, borders and illegal immigration to the United Nations.
“What’s the agenda here? Is this the price we pay so that people in Turnbull’s government, when they get beaten, will have a big job for them at the United Nations?”
