A 36-year-old man in Germany has been brutally murdered in broad daylight by a Syrian migrant wielding a sword.

The shocking attack, which took place on a street in Stuttgart on Wednesday, was caught on camera by multiple witnesses. Footage of the incident circulating on social media shows a man with a sword repeatedly hacking and stabbing the limbs and torso of his victim.

Reports claim the attacker, a Syrian migrant, got into a heated dispute with his German-Kazakh roommate. The victim later died of his wounds.

The attacker is said to have fled the scene on a bicycle, however, police launched a manhunt and quickly apprehended the suspect.

The attack comes just days after an migrant in Frankfurt pushed a mother and her eight-year-old son in front of an oncoming high-speed train, killing the boy.
