Mark Latham has called on the New South Wales Government to scrap plans to rebrand the state government logo in the lead up to Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. The official rainbow version of the logo will come into effect tomorrow, in an effort to show the state government’s “support of the LGBTQIA+ community” as well as demonstrate “commitment to inclusivity and diversity within the NSW Public Service.” But the One Nation NSW leader has said the NSW logo is not truly inclusive if it fails to represent the millions of people who do not relate to rainbow symbolism…

Australian retailer Bonds has released a new Pride range which includes LGBTQ-themed clothing for newborns, young children and even dogs. The underwear brand released the new rainbow range ahead of this year’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and in support of the LGBTQIA+ youth organisation Minus 18. To coincide with the release, Bonds also launched an ‘Out Now’ campaign, celebrating the “coming out stories of queer Australians.” Back in November, Minus 18 issued a “casting call” for “out and proud queer people” who are comfortable being photographed in their underwear. The “casting call” specifically asked for families with a…

Switzerland on Sunday voted in favour of new laws that would make ‘homophobia’ a criminal offence punishable by fines and up to three years imprisonment. More than 60 per cent of voters participating in the referendum were in favour of the new legislation which would extend anti-racism laws to include “discrimination,” “hate speech” and public “insults” aimed at individuals because of their “sexual orientation”. Mathias Reynard, a lawmaker from the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland who first proposed the law, said, “Homophobia is not an opinion. It’s a crime. “This victory sends a strong signal. I have already received hundreds…

Soon after, Nicola Sturgeon confirmed in an address to MSPs that the 42-year-old had been suspended from the Scottish National Party (SNP) while further investigations were carried out. The transcript shows Mackay inviting the teen to dinner and…

In January 2018, a transgender woman filed a complaint with the Anchorage Equal Rights Commission, alleging a woman’s refuge was guilty of discrimination for twice refusing him admission into the female-only shelter. Anchorage officials took action against the refuge, Downtown Hope Center, and opened an investigation into the allegation of gender identity discrimination. According to David Cortman of the Alliance Defending Freedom, when the transgender individual, Samantha Coyle, approached the facility, it was after hours. “He was inebriated,” Cortman told KTUU. “He was injured. He had just come from a fight where he was kicked out of another shelter.” The shelter…

A 13-year-old schoolgirl has applied for judicial review, claiming the Oxfordshire County Council’s ‘Trans Inclusion Toolkit for Schools 2019‘ compromises her safety and violates her right to privacy. The young girl has said the 65-page guide for students questioning their gender poses a risk to children by allowing boys and girls to share private spaces, including toilets, changerooms and sleeping dorms. The council’s guidance to more than 300 schools in Oxfordshire states: “Children and young people are supported through the Equality Act 2010 to access the toilet that corresponds to their gender identity; so trans girls because they are girls,…

Pre-Christian paganism masquerades as Post-Christian freedom The only good things to be said about the burlesque ambush of the NFL Superbowl LIV’s halftime show, is that Shakira’s and Jennifer Lopez’s vocal talent hasn’t waned, the stage effects were well coordinated and the choreography never missed a beat. Beyond this, the scant clothing, right down to the provocative dance moves, presented another “sex sells” exhibit, displaying how far the overt sexualisation of Western culture has taken society back to a pre-Christian paganism, with its excesses and its abuses. The principal message being sent to women by the 15-minute segment is twofold.…

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren has said her future Secretary of Education will be chosen by a transgender child to ensure public schools are a “welcoming community”. Speaking on Sunday at a town hall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Warren said her future nominee will be subject to an interview with a young transgender person, and the nominee will only advance to the position if the child approves of the candidate. “It starts with the Secretary of Education – who has a lot to do with where we spend our money, with what gets advanced in our public schools, with…

A 23-year-old man convicted of a myriad of sex-crimes will be released from an Iowa prison after claiming he now identifies as a woman. According to the Storm Lake Times, Iowa officials determined that Joseph Matthew Smith’s reduction in testosterone levels following his ‘transition’ puts him at a lower risk of re-offending. Smith, who was convicted of molesting a fellow student at Midwest Christian Services, also reportedly molested up to 15 children under the age of 13 before being sentenced to prison in 2015, the Iowa Sex Offender Registry reveals. At the time, the report found that Smith had a…

For seven years, Pete Benjamin lived as a transgender woman. It wasn’t until after Pete had undergone irreversible gender reassignment surgery that he realised his tragic mistake. “I thought that becoming a woman would make me happy,” Pete said. “It would be a different life. I’d have these lovely, flouncy dresses on and I’d be skipping through the tulips and stuff like that. It wasn’t– It wasn’t anything like that. “The counsellors and the internet did not help me one iota [by] saying you’re wrong in changing gender – they never said that to me. They said go ahead, they…

Agnostic historian and author Tom Holland has said Christians radically changed the way people treated sex and slavery in the classical world. During an exchange on The Big Conversation, Holland explained that Paul’s idea of lifelong matrimony, as an image of the marriage of Christ and the church, set in train a radical reconfiguring of the way that people came to think about sex and marriage. “I think, by and large, pretty much everyone now takes those assumptions for granted and we can see that,” Holland said. “In the 60s, in particular, there was this kind of sense that Christian…

A “gay drag queen” from California has slammed the Drag Queen Story Hour phenomenon, saying parents who allow their children to participate in such events are “extremely irresponsible.” The San Bernardino-based performer known as Kitty Demure posted a short video to social media on Sunday, warning parents that their attempts to appear “woke” and “non-homophobic” are hurting the gay community, which “already has a reputation for being pedophiles.” “What in the hell has a drag queen ever done to make you have so much respect for them, and admire them so much?” Demure said. “Other than put on make-up and…

A biological woman has been legally recognised as the “father” of the child she birthed, in a first for the state of Illinois. If that’s not confusing enough, the woman’s spouse, who is also transgender, will be listed as the “mother” on the child’s birth certificate, despite being born a biological male. “It was so crazy,” Myles Davis, 38, told the Chicago Tribune. “I never even thought the birth certificate would have misgendered us in that way.” Myles, and spouse, Precious, reported the problem to an employer at Equality Illinois and reached out to the LGBTQ rights group Lambda Legal,…

A 45-year old convicted sex offender has defended his child-pornography collection by claiming he identifies as an 8-year-old girl. During his sentencing, Joseph Gobrick of Grand Rapids, Michigan, argued, “I’ve always been an 8-year-old girl. And even in my drawings and fantasies, I am always an 8-year-old girl.” Gobrick also claimed the images did not constitute child pornography because they were mostly computer-generated images and were protected under the First Amendment. Police, however, said eight child victims were identified in the images recovered from his computer. Kent County Circuit Court Judge Paul Denenfeld found Gobrick guilty on three counts of…

From a post of mine from 2017 when I first engaged with Scruton on a serious level. His passing this week is a monumental loss, but his legacy, bravado and inspiration, will continue on. It is my hope that this post will exemplify why. In the video below, conservative philosopher Roger Scruton is interviewed for an hour and a half by Dutch journalist Wim Kayzer, as part of a series called, ‘Of Beauty and Consolation‘. The whole interview is worth watching. Since it is quite lengthy, my purpose here will be to share some of the more stand-out points. What this…

It was only a few years ago, during Australia’s same-sex marriage debate, that a group of LGBTQ protesters stormed the stage at a Coalition for Marriage meeting in Melbourne. The protesters were chanting, “Crucify the Christians”, while waving a banner that read, “Burn churches, not queers.” Many same-sex marriage supporters saw the protest as a brave and courageous stand for love and equality. A month later the slogans, “Crucify ‘No’ Voters” and “Bash Bigots” was painted across the side of a Baptist church in Wheelers Hill. At the time, Lyle Shelton, former head of the Australian Christian Lobby and spokesman…

The Daily Mail Australia is reporting Wilson Gavin died after suffering critical injuries in suicide about 7am this morning at Chelmer Railway station. I am, was, friends with Wilson. He has nothing to apologise for and is a hero we all should take notes from. He hated no one, and dearly loved his Roman Catholic Church, taking his religion very seriously. He loved the Queen and our Commonwealth, and passionately advocated for conservative principles as the best ideas for all of his fellow Australians. Like the stranger in the parable of the Good Samaritan, he thought it his Christian imperative to practically…

From Mao Xe-Dong’s genocidal regime in China, to the Third Reich’s extermination of the Jews, the history of Darwinian evolution is a path marked with human destruction. Various ideologies that surfaced during the nineteenth and twentieth century are evidence for the devastating effects of Darwinism when applied to society, and these continue to the present day. This has produced a new breed of social justice warriors, which has polluted the political waters creating turmoil and disunity. It stems from an acceptance of evolutionary theory, breaking down absolute truths, and replacing a moral compass with pluralism and the individual subjective experience.…

Headlines around the world claim the West has never been more divided. Tensions and frustrations increase as the gulfs between ideological, economic, environmental, cultural, religious and political positions grow wider and wider. It’s as though we are being pulled in very different directions all at once on just about every issue. As we look around ourselves, it’s hard not to see the cultural chaos. We’ve effectively thrown away the Bible as the basis for morality, law, justice, and truth. As a society, we now find ourselves wallowing in the incoherent pits of relativism without anything of any meaningful substance to…
