They say those who won’t learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And narcissistic, selfie-obsessed millenials are proof to the veracity of that claim.

Almost two-thirds of individuals born between 1981 and 1996 view Socialism in a positive light.

Meanwhile in the U.S. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ed Markey have introduced a Green New Deal bill that promises to provide “economic security for those unable and unwilling to work.” Yes, “economic security” for those “unwilling to work.”

Folks, this is the stupidity of Socialism. Most people work in order to secure an income. Remove the need to provide for your own and who will be left to earn the money the Socialist government promises to redistribute? And before long, people start thinking about cooking the family pet.

We’d do well to heed the Apostle Paul’s instruction in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, “If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.” There is no “economic security” for those “unwilling to work”. Let them go hungry, Paul says. Why? Because a man’s hunger is a God given motivator.

“A worker’s appetite works for him; his mouth urges him on” (Pro. 16:26). Feed a man unwilling to work and you kill that drive. Kill the drive of enough workers and your nation simply won’t survive. Literally every Socialist country is proof of that.
