Students from a university pro-life group have been arrested after writing “Black Preborn Lives Matter” in chalk outside a Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Washington D.C.
Footage uploaded to Twitter by the organisation Students For Life shows a young man and woman writing in chalk on the sidewalk when an officer approaches, warning them that they will be placed under arrest if they continue.
Our students and team members were threatened, harassed, and arrested in front of Planned Parenthood in Washington D.C. for painting all Black Preborn Lives Matter.

“Hey folks, I need to tell you now, that if you continue chalking you’re going to be placed under arrest for defacing property,” the Washington D.C. officer said.
“We do this every Saturday,” the young man replied before continuing.
Officers then handcuffed both the young man and woman as individuals off camera began objecting to their arrest.
“This is completely public property,” one woman is heard saying.
Another man says to the officers: “Every Saturday, people are here chalking and you’re taking somebody – young people – and arresting them because they’re simply putting ‘Preborn Lives Matter’? You’ve got to be joking.”
“We’re standing in front of an abortuary, where they kill children every day, and you’re taking young people away to the police department because they’re simply putting chalk on a sidewalk. This is absolutely absurd,” he added.
In other news, insurance experts and city officials are suggesting the riots following George Floyd’s death could be the costliest civil disorder in U.S. history.
Prior to 2020, that title was held by the 1992 Los Angeles riots, which caused approximately $1.4 billion in damages. But losses stemming from the Floyd protests are likely to far exceed that according to experts.
