Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar said she is “beyond excited” for a President who will “fight against Western Imperialism.”
Omar made the remarks during a rally in Minnesota on Sunday for communist-sympathizer, and Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders.
“I am beyond honored and excited for a president who will fight against Western imperialism and fight for a just world,” Omar said. “And I am excited for President Bernie Sanders.”
Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra summed up Omar’s comments, saying: “In essence, what excites Omar about Sanders is the fact that she believes that he will essentially shrink the United States’ role and influence in the world for the sake of having a ‘just world.'”
Never mind the fact that the Western world has to physically prevent the Middle East and Africa from pouring into Western countries in the millions– and for what? Are they flowing into our countries in order to be oppressed by the Western world, to escape Western imperialism, or do they want to experience the freedom and prosperity our forefathers secured for us?
As Mark Steyn rightly said: “I believe Western culture – rule of law, universal suffrage, etc. is to be preferable to Arab culture: that’s why there are millions of Muslims in Scandinavia, and four Scandinavians in Syria. Follow the traffic.”
The world doesn’t need less Western influence. It needs more. That’s why the East is flocking to the West, not vice versa.
