WE are continually warned that doctors who believe in traditional marriage might deny medical treatment to gay patients. Amazingly, the New York City Council has turned this on its head and decided to deny gay patients to doctors who believe in traditional marriage. That’ll teach the bigots! New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson announced at the weekend that it was “time for Samaritan’s Purse to leave NYC”. He tweeted: “Their continued presence here is an affront to our values of inclusion, and is painful for all New Yorkers who care deeply about the LGBTQ community.” Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian…

Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden—Donald Trump’s last remaining rival—has been accused of sexual assault by a former staffer named Tara Reade. Such a serious allegation against a presidential candidate would normally be a loud, leading, global story. Instead, America’s biggest mainstream news outlets such as the New York Times, the Washington Post and CNN have remained eerily quiet about the Tara Reade accusations. So deafening is this ‘conspiracy of silence’ that the legacy media’s bias has itself become the story; more newsworthy, perhaps, than the allegations against the former Vice President. In a March 25th interview, Tara Reade, a staffer for then-Senator…

I have long believed that the news is what you get after events have been filtered through the media’s unreasoning hatred of Donald Trump. This was confirmed again on Thursday when Trump wondered aloud whether doctors might come up with a way to inject people with disinfectant to kill the Coronavirus. American political commentator Brian Tyler Cohen reported: “Trump is now promoting injecting coronavirus patients with disinfectant.” Trump did not promote any such thing. He simply asked whether it was an idea doctors might look into. The Washington Post reported Trump’s question as a “dubious medical tip” as if it…
