Why did Youtube censor this video?
Childish Gambino’s, This Is America, has managed to rack up over 130 million views in less than two weeks. Despite containing scenes depicting violent mass shootings and executions, the music video falls within the bounds of Youtube’s ever changing community standards. Unlike Paul Joseph Watson’s commentary on the video, which Youtube censored not long after it was published. Youtube initially marked Watson’s video as, “inappropriate or offensive to some audiences.” However, following online backlash Youtube restored Watson’s video. “It would be an awful shame if the video now went viral,” Watson said.

Chilling! Watch Google’s digital assistant convince people it’s actually HUMAN
The future has arrived, and it’s kind of creepy. Google have demonstrated their digital assistant’s ability to mimic human interaction over the phone. The bot is so convincingly human that it was able to book a hair appointment and make a restaurant reservation without those on the other end of the line realizing they were actually speaking to a machine. You can watch the demonstration in the video below.

Study: Mr Men and Little Miss books are sexist and encourage misogynistic gender stereotypes
A recent study out of the University of Lincoln has found the Mr Men and Little Miss book series to be sexist. The findings are based on 47 Mr Men and 34 Little Miss books published between 1971 and 2014. The study found that throughout the series male characters were given more words than female characters. While females were given an average of 54.5 words per story, males were given 61.5. So, if males talk more it’s sexism, but if females talk more it’s a gender stereotype. In 51.5 per cent of cases, Little Misses were saved by another character,…

The Short Life of Johanna; The Everlasting Life of Johanna
“It was my sad duty to prepare the coffin, and to place the little wasted black form therein; but amid my tears, joy filled my heart to overflowing at the thought of this precious gem, the glorified spirit of our dear little Waradgeri girl, shining in beauty in the Saviour’s crown.”
A Nation Guided by the Moral Fashion of the Day
If good and bad are ultimately defined by culture, then the moral relativist must grant that there is always a circumstance in which every act, even the most heinous, can be justified.
Labor and Greens oppose mandatory jail time for pedophiles
Peta Credlin has called The Crimes Legislation Amendment (Sexual Crimes against Children and Community Protection Measures) Bill 2017, “the most significant reform to the legal framework concerning child sex offenders in decades.” The Bill would introduce mandatory minimum penalties for child sex offenders and repeat offenders, extend their jail time, and make it less likely pedophiles would be granted parole. While the current laws may appear strong, Credlin suggests, the courts water them down in sentencing. “Since 2012, only 58.7% of convicted Commonwealth child sex offenders received a term of imprisonment.” Of those who did, the most common period of actual…
Netherlands, euthanasia and the very slippery slope
In 2002 the Netherlands legalised euthanasia, making it the first country to declare it legal for doctors to assist in suicides. A 25-year review published in the New England Journal of Medicine revealed that death by assisted suicide rose from 1.7% in 1990 before it was legal, to 4.5% in 2015. In July LifeSiteNews reported that euthanasia in the Netherlands is getting so out of hand that 200 Dutch doctors took out an advertisement in a major newspaper which stated: “[Assisted suicide] for someone who cannot confirm he wants to die? No, we will not do that. Our moral reluctance…
