The ABC tells children: LGBTQ Mardi Gras is a family-friendly celebration that’s also ‘naughty’ and ‘an act of resistance’.
The ABC continues to paint the LGBTQ Mardi Gras as a family-friendly event. This year they recycled a program on the kid’s channel called Mardi Gras + Me. The show, featuring Playschool host Zindzi Okenyo, follows a group of children as they prepare to march in the Sydney parade. Activist Julie McCrossin makes an appearance, to tell the children what Mardi Gras is all about. According to McCrossin, “Mardi Gras is welcoming, naughty, and multicultural in every sense of the word.” Benjamin Law, who said he sometimes finds himself wondering if he would hate-f–k all the MPs in parliament who opposed…
ABC’s Q&A and Labor Senator says: Catholicism is more harmful than Islam.
Over the weekend the ABC’s Q&A asked their Twitter followers if Catholicism had done more harm to Australia than Islam. Attached to the question was an article from The Guardian with the implied answer. The piece, written by Labor’s Kristina Keneally, and published back in February 2017, was titled: “Catholicism has done more harm to Australia than Islam.” At the time, Keneally wrote in defence of the ABC’s Yasmin Abdel-Magied after she was criticised following an appearance on Q&A in which she claimed that Islam was the most feminist religion. Has Catholicism done more harm to Australia than Islam? via…
Google encourages businesses to publicly list themselves “LGBTQ-friendly”, tells customers to find places that celebrate the LGBTQ lifestyle.
Google has introduced a new “LGBTQ-friendly” business attribute to encourage customers to “find the people and places that celebrate” the LGBTQ lifestyle. The tech giant is also urging businesses to “be an ally” by publicly listing themselves under the rainbow flag as “LGBTQ-friendly” and “safe spaces” for transgender people. More bizarre than that, Google went on to claim that LGBTQ+ people have had difficulty finding businesses willing to serve them in Australia. “While marriage equality has been legal in Australia for over a year, finding businesses that are open to everyone hasn’t always been easy for members of the LGBTQ+…
Christian social policy should consist of more than just demanding the freedom to say some things in our own little corner of the public space.
As Western society becomes more bullying in its attitude towards Christians, there has been an increasing tendency on the part of many believers to be content with arguing for our space in the public square. There has been a reluctance to call on unbelievers to repent, and even an assumption that unbelievers cannot be expected to hold the same moral views as Christians. It is true that without the Holy Spirit, the Christian message will simply seem to be foolishness to those who hear it (1 Cor.2:14). However, God has written His moral law on the hearts of all human…
‘Mother’ and ‘father’ BANNED from official school paperwork because it discriminates against gay parents.
The Australian: The French parliament has voted to banish the words “mother” and “father” from official paperwork in the education system to tackle discrimination against gay parents. Children’s documents will instead refer to Parent 1 and Parent 2. The move has angered conservatives and Christians who argue that it signals the country’s moral decline. Groups fiercely opposed to gay marriage have called for civil disobedience if, as is widely expected, the move is approved by the Senate. Read the full story.
Abortion numbers plunge with rise of pro-family policies in Hungary
Life Site News: Hungary’s ever increasing support for families by the government is creating an environment where marriages and families are flourishing and abortion numbers are dropping, one of the country’s ministers advised [at] a recent international conference on life and family. The support has caused abortion numbers to plunge by more than a third of what they were in 2010 (40,449 to 28,500). It has also caused a plunge in the number of divorces (23,873 in 2010 to 18,600 in 2017) and a surge in the number of marriages (35,520 in 2010 to 50,600 in 2017). Read the full story.
Gillette slammed for legitimizing “toxic masculinity” ideology.
Proctor and Gamble is under fire for a Gillette ad pushing men to shave their “toxic masculinity”. The ad depicts men getting into fights, standing in front of barbecue grills, and verbally harassing women. The ad, dubbed “We Believe” also heavily features news clips discussing the recent #MeToo movement. The once popular razor blade maker has hemorrhaged market share in recent years. A decade ago, Gillette controlled about 70 percent of the U.S. market. However, last year, its market share dropped to below 50 percent, according to Euromonitor. In an effort to salvage its plunging popularity, Gillette has jumped on…

How to uproot the Christian church, a masterclass from Louis XIV
By 1685 Louis XIV had from the age of four been the King of France for 42 years, and he still had another thirty years to reign. From birth his mind and heart had been thoroughly trained to believe that God had anointed him to be France’s absolute ruler. His Huguenot subjects, the French Protestants who refused to submit to his Roman Catholic beliefs and practices, offended him. They stood outside of his thought-world. They stood against the beliefs that he cherished as true. Ultimately, he sensed that they stood outside of his control. The Huguenots offended the abysmal totalitarian…
If the people aren’t interested in Governments, Governments will govern outside the interests of the people.
Positive advances in communications technology drive the functionality of information. Its delivery is like a viaduct. Information is carried along at a fast pace. Which means that we find ourselves living in an era of information deluge. Words, thoughts and opinions rain down on us from everywhere. In this downpour, writers can be too easily tempted to reach for the fastest way to keep people reading their work. However, putting something together that’s worth a reader’s time, takes time. In this environment, writing can be hard. Gimmicks and stunts; shock and awe, are all potential roads writers can go down.Simply…
Christian women face 6-months in jail for refusing to use their artwork to promote same-sex weddings.
Two artists from Phoenix, Arizona are facing 6 months in jail and heavy fines for refusing to create custom artworks promoting same-sex weddings. The Arizona Court of Appeals ruled that Joanna Duka and Breanna Koski, owners of Brush & Nib Studio, are required by Phoenix law to create artwork for same-sex wedding ceremonies because they “cannot discriminate against potential patrons based on sexual orientation.” According to Life Site News, “Not only are the Christian women threatened with jail time and fines should they refuse to create artwork celebrating gay ‘marriage’ because of Phoenix law, they could also be prosecuted for publishing a statement on…
Is disagreement in the Liberal Party better than the forced conformity of Labor and The Greens?
Brendan O’Neill has suggested, disagreement in the Australian Liberal Party may be healthier than the forced conformity of Labor and the Greens. On Monday night’s episode of Q&A, O’Neill said: “Labor and the Greens possibly have a more conformist take on [climate change, same-sex marriage, and multiculturalism] and possibly have even quelled any form of dissent within their ranks in relation to those issues. “You try being a Climate skeptic in the Labor Party, it’s not allowed. You try criticising same-sex marriage, whether from a religious perspective or a secular perspective, it’s not allowed… “If there is all this disagreement…
Parents are losing their rights: Who owns your children? You or the state?
Dr Douglas Farrow said when Canada passed same-sex marriage legislation, consequential amendments to existing law followed. Among those consequential amendments was the language of natural parents and natural parent/child relations. According to Dr Farrow, such language was “struck from Canadian law and replaced with legal parent, legal parent/child relationships.” “Now you can see when that happens that the power of the state is hugely enhanced,” Dr Farrow added. “Hence the question asked by our own chief justice: ‘Who owns the children?’ Increasingly, the answer is the state owns the children and allots them, as it were.” WATCH:
The Telegraph urges men to give their wives permission to commit adultery this Christmas.
The Telegraph UK published a piece yesterday encouraging married couples to, at the very least, discuss the possibility of a “consensual non-monogamous” marriage. According to the article, titled ‘Why men should give their wives a cheat pass this Christmas,’ monogamy might not be the only approach to long-term relationships, because “contrary to popular opinion, women tire of their sexual partners faster than men, and need just as much sexual adventure and novelty as their male counterparts – if not more.” The article goes on to argue that monogamy is hard, citing a YouGov study that showed one in five British…
Genuinely conservative.
In 2040, when I am hauled before the Department for Eradication of Hate, Bigotry and Offending Protected Minority Categories (or DEHBOPMC), and I am asked, “did you, or did you not, join the Australian Conservatives Party in 2017?” I will feel compelled by my conscience, and the fact that they probably have evidence, to say “yes”. And then I’ll be admitted to some compulsory psychiatric sessions or a reconditioning labour-camp, or have “don’t platform” stamped on my forehead until they can map out the network of phobes and isms that constitute my particular condition. Or maybe I’ll even get shot…
“Opt-in” to gender: Prime Minister Scott Morrison calls Tasmania’s new transgender laws “ridiculous.”
Tasmania’s lower house has passed new transgender laws which will require parents to “opt-in” to having their child’s sex recorded on birth certificates. The amendments will also make it easier for teens as young as 16 to change their gender by simply filing a statutory declaration. Anti-discrimination laws were also broadened making it illegal to offend, insult or discriminate against someone on the basis of their “gender expression.” Refusal to use an individuals preferred pronoun will be regarded as “hate speech.” Martyn Iles, Managing Director of the Australian Christian Lobby, called it “Unhinged, total madness. We think we are gods.”…
Slovakia does not recognise Islam, has no mosques, and won’t allow Islamic ideas to be taught in schools.
Slovakia is reportedly the last EU member state without a single mosque. With a Muslim community of about 5,000, Islam doesn’t meet the threshold to be granted official state recognition. This means, Muslims in Slovakia are not permitted to have official religious leaders, conduct Islamic marriages, receive financial contributions from the state, teach religion in schools, or build mosques. [adinserter block=”1″] According to the UK Government, there have been no acts of terrorism carried out in Slovakia in recent history. WATCH:
It’s Still Okay to Vote “No”
It’s fitting to mark the anniversary of the National survey on Same-Sex Marriage, with this important Heritage foundation panel discussion held in the United States in 2017. The panel contributors include Ryan Bomberger, who I’ve had a growing admiration for his work through the Radiance Foundation. The group discusses how anti-discrimination laws are being used as a sword, rather than a shield, in order to impose radical Leftist ideological agendas, and punish those who stand opposed to them. The panel also addresses the false equivalency that is made between the abhorrent Jim Crow laws, and someone declining to serve/make/create based…
No plans to criminalise marital rape: “Islam has provided guidance on this matter.”
Malaysian Politician, Mohamed Hanipa bin Maidin, announced in Parliament last month there were no plans to make marital rape a crime in Malaysia. Currently, under section 375A of the Penal Code, Malaysian law does recognise the offence of a “husband causing hurt in order to have sexual intercourse.” The legislation, however, is inadequate, failing to extend to circumstances of coercion, abuse of authority, and intoxication, just to name a few. The punishment for this offense is a maximum of five years, compared to a 20-year maximum for rape. The legislation itself fails to recognise rape as the absence of consent…
Who Are the Real Fascists?
If the facts cannot be squeezed into a meme the level of attention those facts receive is reduced. Attention to detail is overlooked for what will best attract a view, a like, a follow or a share. Information is seen purely as a commodity.
