The Flag of Rebellion and Division Is Literally Un-Australian
“Feel free to disagree on religious doctrine, but the Aboriginal flag’s representation of domestic rebellion, racial division and pagan religion is more than a little problematic for Bible believers if not all Australians.”
GASP! The Christians Are Voting!
“Teaching from God’s Word is ‘extreme right-wing’? Well, that says a lot about the Greens, doesn’t it!”
Sweden Did Not Say Their Approach to COVID-19 Was Wrong
Lockdown apologists have been crowing about Swedes “admitting their approach was wrong on Covid-19”. The only problem is, as usual, they’re not basing their conclusions on real evidence. Reports from The Guardian and New York Times, two former newspapers (each as biased as epidemiological modelling from the London Institute), kind of admitted Sweden’s Chief Epidemiologist made no such admission. Sweden, among others, has been held up by lockdown opponents like me as rational lovers of liberty and life (yes, we can walk and chew gum at the same time). Their approach relied on voluntary action, physical distancing and vigilant personal hygiene – all pretty…
You Suddenly Want to Protest Deaths in Custody? Good! But Can You Be Consistent?
George Floyd is dead, and that is an unmitigated tragedy all by itself before anything else happened. All four officers involved were sacked immediately pending investigation, and the alleged murderer was eventually arrested and charged with murder and manslaughter. It’s expected the others will face trial on criminal charges as well. Absolutely no one on any side of politics, at any level of government, or in any law enforcement agency or their trade unions has come out and tried to contextualise or minimalise the evil brutality of the murderer. There is “systemic” condemnation, not tolerance, of this crime. The public…
Jackie Trad Blames Others for Her Career Woes
Jackie Trad is one of the most aggressive, personal politicians in the nation, not only behind the scenes and in the halls of power, but also in front of the camera and online. It’s odd then she is now complaining about feeling a little bruised by the gladiatorial nature in which she has played the game of professional politics. In her first interview since resigning from her role as Deputy Premier, Treasurer and many other portfolios of power due to the latest integrity scandal involving her, she seems surprised to explain “her outspoken progressive views – including a successful push to reform abortion…
Victoria’s Chief Health Officer Admits COVID-19 Restrictions Are Arbitrary
David Limbrick MP yesterday asked an excellent science question of the Victorian Chief Health Officer appearing before the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee. When asked, “How do you make the decision between which activities should be prohibited and which shouldn’t?“ Victoria’s Chief Health Officer replied: In a sense, these are not easy decisions to make – there is some arbitrariness. That is why you’ll see an enormous variety across jurisdictions in Australia. Standing apart from many Christian commentators and leaders (though not alone), I’ve been an outspoken critic of the loss of liberty still being endured by Australians in the name of…
Our Lefties Agree With Science When Science Agrees With Them: A Response to Jane Caro
Jane Caro – novelist and social commentator – typed a piece yesterday titled “Our Leaders Agree With Science When Science Agrees With Them“. In it, she gives credit to the conservatives (among other national and state leaders) who have heeded the doomsday predictions of discredited pandemic models and certainly saved us from an inevitable apocalypse. It is a backhanded compliment though, as she quickly muses, “But I can’t help wondering why, in that case, when it comes to the science of climate change these same governments have been stubbornly looking away.“ She spends most of the article tediously railing against…
What If the Experts Were Wrong – Really Wrong?
In 2001 Professor Neil Ferguson, professor of mathematical biology and director of the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College London, predicted up to 150,000 could die in the U.K. alone from mad cow disease. Panicked politicians and ballistic bureaucrats ordered the culling of over 6 million animals and economically vandalised rural Britain. Only 177 people died. Professor Michael Thrusfield of Edinburgh University claimed Professor Ferguson’s model made incorrect assumptions about transmission. This government expert’s model was criticised as “not fit for purpose” and “severely flawed”, and established a history of wildly overestimating death rates through his prediction models. Nevertheless, when President…
It’s Time to End This Lockdown Madness
We’ve been sold a bill of goods by global agencies and national and state governments, aided by a media ever salivating for sensation. We’ve been compliant little citizens, setting aside our cultural scepticism of authority and replacing our freedom and ability to think for ourselves with government “experts”. Social freedoms have been hard-won in world history through violent revolutions shaking off the shackles of tyranny. When our founding fathers surveyed the best political systems in the world they enshrined ideals which were strong enough to survive the ravages of global pandemics, wars and financial crises and upon which to build…
That’s Not What Makes One a Christian, Magda
Instead of conforming her worldview to the revealed Word of God, Magda Szubanski is deeply upset Christianity isn’t conformed to her worldview. She seems more than a little frustrated the Vatican empathised with those who suffer from unjust sentences, the Pope comparing their suffering to the popular persecution of Jesus with “obstinacy and rage even though He was innocent.” Such language vividly describes the vendetta prosecuted by the ABC, Victorian legal system and irrational masses baying for Cardinal George Pell’s blood. I’ve downloaded the form to formally defect from the Catholic Church. I am seriously thinking of sending it. Is that what…
Journalists are horrified judges disagree with their biased legal opinions
In a salient display of a free press and journalistic independence, the Australian government-owned national broadcaster has taken the Australian government’s Federal Police to court to block them reading documents seized when officers executed a search warrant. Who grants search warrants? Is it the Prime Minister, any elected official or bureaucrat in their employ? No. It’s a judge, or a trusted and accountable registrar with their delegated power who Federal Police had to persuade of the merits of their application for the warrant to search. Australian and international media have howled with indignant outrage at the notion they and their…
A Friendly Word to the Never Trumpers
In an article sure to sort the sheep from the goats, Dr Michael L Brown (who is about to tour Australia & New Zealand as part of the Church And State Summit) has written a sober perspective on why Christian conscience compels him to vote for President Trump again. BROWN: President Trump’s State of the Union message, coupled with the Democratic response, reminds me of why I voted for Trump in 2016. And why I plan to vote for him again in 2020. The contrasts are just too extreme. I am conscience-bound to vote against the radical left and to vote for…
Richard Di Natale’s decision to quit politics is a policy we can all adopt
Richard Di Natale yesterday announced his retirement from politics, and his reasons make me want to stand up and applaud the long-overdue display of right thinking and political priority. Here’s the important part of what he said in his tweeted announcement. After nearly a decade as a senator, half that time as leader, this morning I’ve announced my resignation as Parliamentary Leader of the Australian Greens. It’s not a decision I’ve come to lightly because leading this incredible movement for nearly five years has been one of the biggest honours of my life. But my boys are nine and eleven years…
Rosie Batty doesn’t think work which pits women against men should be rewarded
Of all the hypocritical pig swill I’ve ever read in fake news, leftist rags, this one takes the cake. Rosie Batty – poster-girl for the misandristic men-are-evil-predators narrative about domestic violence – thinks Bettina Arndt doesn’t deserve her AO because her work, allegedly, “pits men against women”. Bettina’s work does not do that. Yet in the minds of many Australians: Rosie’s does. Bettina’s work objects to that being done by the toxic feminist narrative such as Battie regurgitates. It objects to Universities presuming accused boys & men guilty and circumventing our carefully evolved justice system with incompetent kangaroo courts. Bettina’s work objects to hyperbole from hyperventilating harpies about a…
Planned Parenthood consultant admits babies may feel pain while being aborted
The Journal of Medical Ethics has published a paper calling for fetal pain to “be considered as part of a humane approach to abortion”. Whenever a paper or professional reaches a conclusion which is inconvenient to the profitable abortion industry or contradicts pro-abortion-choice propaganda, inevitably the attack will turn, not on the argument or evidence, but on the credibility of the critic. Unfortunately for America’s largest corporate abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, they have previously hired this paper’s lead author, Professor Stuart Derbyshire, as a consultant. Pretending now they have no confidence in him or his research will be more transparently dishonest than…

Wilson Gavin is a hero, but just hours after his death ‘tolerant progressives’ still aren’t done vilifying him
The Daily Mail Australia is reporting Wilson Gavin died after suffering critical injuries in suicide about 7am this morning at Chelmer Railway station. I am, was, friends with Wilson. He has nothing to apologise for and is a hero we all should take notes from. He hated no one, and dearly loved his Roman Catholic Church, taking his religion very seriously. He loved the Queen and our Commonwealth, and passionately advocated for conservative principles as the best ideas for all of his fellow Australians. Like the stranger in the parable of the Good Samaritan, he thought it his Christian imperative to practically…
The Pathological Hatred of the American President
Dr Michael L Brown offers incisive commentary on the pathological hatred of the American President. This article was first published on his website, AskDrBrown.org. Dr Brown will be touring New Zealand and Australia at the end of February as part of the not-to-be-missed Church And State Summit. Trump Takes Out a Terrorist: Good News or Bad? Dr Michael L Brown It’s not every day when major voices as disparate as Piers Morgan and Rush Limbaugh agree. But when it comes to Democratic (and, more widely, liberal) reaction to Trump’s killing of Iranian General Soleimani, Morgan and Limbaugh are singing the…
Nobel Prize-awarded scientist retracts peer-reviewed research
I considered calling this article, “Philosophy is more important than science,” because without the moral imperative for honesty in reproducing and reporting the results of experiments discoverable through the discipline of philosophy, science would be completely unreliable. That’s also why scientists shouldn’t be delegated any more authority than a plumber to determine public policies which have broader effects than any scientist’s field of expertise. People who consider “peer-reviewed science” alone or give it disproportionate weight when considering public policy are unhelpfully naive about the dynamic nature of science. They pour scorn on anyone questioning “peer-reviewed science” as a solid foundation…
Was Jesus a Refugee?
It’s become quite fashionable with the advent of social media for rank amateur theologians to posture as experts on Christian living, doctrine and to even claim confidence of what the historical Jesus Christ would support or oppose. Ironically many personally reject any authority or validity of Scripture in their personal lives – it’s just something they pretend has authority when they ignorantly assume it supports their position. The most common example is easily people who quote the first two words of Matthew 7, “Judge not”, without reading the rest of that very chapter or Gospels or Bible which teaches Christians…
