Watch: UK Prime Minister Theresa May praises Islam and tells Britain to ‘give thanks’ for Muslim enrichment
UK Prime Minister Theresa May has released a message to celebrate the end of the “holy month of Ramadam.” In a video posted on Facebook, Prime Minister May said, Muslims are “playing their part” in making Britain a nation to be proud of. It is an opportunity for all of us here in the UK to reflect on and celebrate the incredible contribution to our national life made by Britain’s three million Muslims. In every corner of the country and every walk of life British Muslims are making a positive contribution to their communities and their country, playing their part…
Horrific: 27 babies left to die after failed abortions, some potentially as old as 34-weeks
AT LEAST 27 babies were born alive and ‘left to die’ without medical treatment after failed abortion procedures in Western Australia. Some of the babies were potentially as old as 34-weeks, parliamentary questioning revealed. More than 7,000 people called for an inquiry to investigate the ‘systemic failures’ that allowed at least 26 [at the time of the petition] Western Australians to be left to die, WA Today reported. The petition was tabled by pro-life parliamentarian Nick Goiran who wants the deaths to be thoroughly investigated, especially after it was revealed there was “no record of medical intervention or resuscitation.” Mr Goiran…
Eight babies saved outside abortion clinic
A Brisbane based pro-life group says eight babies have been saved since the launch of their ministry several months ago. The group, known as Project 139, took to their Facebook page yesterday revealing parents made the decision to follow through with their pregnancy as a result of a conversation with a counselor outside an abortion clinic. “We are there to give them another choice, to show them how abortion is not their only option,” the group said. The ministry also extends support once a family make the decision not to abort their baby. “We have been able to give to…
This video should be the end of abortion and atheism
In Psalm 139 verses 13 and 14, David wrote, “You formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” This passage has been the tagline for many organisations and groups in the pro-life movement, and for good reason. Life comes from life, and all life ultimately comes from the author of life itself. The video below offers a truly amazing glimpse at what that actually looks like, from fertilisation to birth. Watch:
A tale of two photos
In order to drive home something of the horror of the Nazi regime in Germany (1933-1945), it is fairly commonplace in textbooks and presentations to include graphic photos of Nazi brutality. One of the most piercing is this one of a Nazi soldier shooting a Ukrainian Jew, with the attendant picture of a mass grave. We have all seen photos of Belsen and Auschwitz, as well as horrors from the Burmese railway project supervised by the Japanese. One of the few films I have sat through was one based on Solzhenitsyn’s One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich. The…
Positive Diffusion Coefficients
Like many young men who are inclined to the right, I have recently become a fan of Jordan Peterson. I’m a Christian, so I find his scientific analysis of the world a bit too morally disinterested, but his clarity in presenting his scientific view of the human psyche and the dangers of ‘pathologised’ ideologies… well, it’s poignant and relevant. (And the fact that so many youth are drawn to his lectures shows the true hole in our education system of the past 30+ years, which a money injection will do nothing, in my opinion, to fix). Only a small portion…
Rod Bower on Q&A: At odds with God and science
During his recent appearance on Q&A, Rob Bower of Gosford Anglican Church was asked how he reconciled his stance on same-sex marriage with the biblical view of homosexuality. The question was put to Bower by an audience member who referred to 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 in particular. The verse reads: “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” …
Washer: ‘Be Ready to Lose Your Homes, Your Cars, Everything’
“We will be called things that we are not and persecuted, not for being followers of Christ but for being radical fundamentalists who do not know the true way of Christ, which of course is love and tolerance. You’ll go down as the greatest bigots and haters of mankind in history.”
The lie of euthanasia is that in some instances suicide is the best option
Euthanasia: the practice of intentionally ending a life to relieve pain and suffering. The word literally means “good death.” It’s considered good to many because assisted suicide is viewed as a solution and a legitimate means of ending suffering and escaping what feels inescapable. But is this a helpful or even moral portrayal of suicide? People don’t usually choose to end their life while in a right state of mind. They only ever reach that point because they believed the lie of “good death.” The lie of “euthanasia” is that in some instances, suicide is the best option, or even…
High school says cheerleading team must accept people who don’t make the cut during tryouts in an attempt to be more ‘inclusive’
A high school in New Jersey will now accept everyone onto the cheerleading squad in an attempt to be more “inclusive.” The decision from Hanover Park High School staff came after a parent complained because her daughter failed to make the cut during tryouts. In a letter from the superintendent, students and parents were informed that the high school administration decided to “be more inclusive and not penalize any student” from making the squad that did not achieve the necessary score. Cheerleaders who had trained hard to earn their position were naturally upset by the decision. “I did not put in 18…
Mark Latham: The radical left-wing attack on Western civilisation
This article was originally published on Mark Latham’s Outsiders. I worry that Australia is sleep walking its way to disaster. Political correctness, identity politics and cultural Marxism have run through our institutions at an astonishing rate. There’s not enough public awareness of where these changes have come from and what they mean for the future. Media headlines focus on each controversy in isolation. But we need to understand the overall pattern. The Left has launched a cultural invasion of Australia based on the concept of ‘fluidity’. Everything we thought was fixed in our understanding of the world – such as…
Heartbreaking testimony from a mother who aborted her child: ‘a woman’s right to choose is not freedom, it’s a prison’
Abortion providers often present themselves as champions of women’s rights. The word “care” is used frequently to describe the sort of services they provide. And anyone who challenges the pro-abortion movement is quickly dismissed as irrelevant and hypocritical for caring only about the lives of the unborn, not the mothers. Of course, none of this is actually true. Every time a female baby is aborted, a woman’s rights are violated. Removing a babies’ right to life is nothing short of heartless murder, certainly not “care.” And what they often don’t warn you about is life after an abortion for the…
All Blacks to wear LGBTQ rainbow, as they call for millions to fight against the Christian view of homosexuality
The All Blacks have hit back after Australian rugby star, Israel Folau, caused controversy last month by publicly citing the biblical view of homosexuality. In a display of solidarity with the LGBTQ “community,” the New Zealand rugby team will now sport a jersey that reveals the LGBTQ rainbow when stretched. The new jerseys are part of the #DiversityIsStrength campaign, headed up by team sponsor AIG Insurance. An ad for the campaign was also released on the All Blacks official Facebook page. In call-to-arms style, the ad’s narrator calls for thousands, even millions, to help fight in the “next battle” against…
The stages of fetal development
Day 1: Fertilization: all human chromosomes are present; unique human life begins. Day 6: Embryo begins implantation in the uterus. Day 22: Heart begins to beat with the child’s own blood, often a different type than the mother’s. Week 3: By the end of the third week the child’s backbone spinal column and nervous system are forming. The liver, kidneys and intestines begin to take shape.
Pulse shooting survivor says he’s no longer gay after finding Christ
On June 12, 2016, Muslim terrorist Omar Mateen, entered the Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. At about 2am, Mateen opened fire on the patrons, killing 49 people and wounding 53 others. Luis Ruiz was present on the night of the shooting. Two of his close friends were shot dead. Ruiz said, “I should have been number 50.” Ruiz felt he had been given another chance at life, and that led him to reflect on the life he was living. “Going through old pictures of the night of Pulse, I remember my struggles of perversion, heavy drinking to drown…
Watch Jordan B. Peterson on Bill Maher discussing political correctness and free speech
Professor Jordan B. Peterson and Bill Maher discuss the poison of political correctness and the necessary fight for free speech. Language warning. First of all it’s hard to make people safe because life is seriously not safe. The way that you make people resilient is by exposing them to the things that they’re afraid of and that make them uncomfortable, voluntarily, but you use exposure. So, if you over coddle people, if you protect them from everything that’s sharp, you make them dull and stupid and narcissistic, and it’s a really bad idea. You can watch the exchange in the…
Senate passes bill requiring LGBT history in public schools
The Illinois Senate recently passed a bill that would require public schools to teach lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history. The bill, which passed with a 34-18 vote, requires “all elementary and high schools to teach a unit studying the role and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in the history of this country and this State.” The bill also states that textbooks used in public schools must be inclusive and “non-discriminatory.” Democratic Sen. Heather Steans told Fox News, teaching LGBT history in schools is important to “increase compassion and understanding as well as to provide historical role…
Racism? ABC hires former Greens candidate who likes to “make fun of white people”
How do you define racism and bullying? The ABC have hired former Greens candidate, Osman Faruqi, to serve as deputy editor of a new lifestyle section on the taxpayer funded, public broadcaster’s website. ABC spokesman told The Australian, Mr Faruqi, the son of Greens MP Mehreen Faruqi, will be included in ‘a new digital storytelling project created to reach new audiences in an innovative and engaging way.’ If you’re not familiar with Faruqi, he Tweets like a male (assuming) Yassmin Abdel-Magied. As you read from his feed, just replace “white” with “black” and ask yourself, would that be considered racist?…
No opting-out: Graphic LGBTQ Sex Ed lessons for school children
According to Life Site News, California is set to implement new sex education lessons which help promote abortion, transgenderism and homosexuality to children. While parents were previously given the option to remove their children from such lessons, one school district has told parents they will not be granted the choice. In a memo to the Orange County Board of Education, OC Department of Education general counsel Ronald Wenkart said the law’s opt-out provision “does not apply to instructions, material, or programming that discusses gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, relationships, or family and does not…
Australian soldiers banned from wearing “symbols of death,” like skulls and crossbones
Nope, it’s not April Fools Day. That was almost three weeks ago. This is unfortunately real. Australian soldiers have been banned from wearing “symbols of death” because they encourage “arrogance.” Such symbols include the skull and crossbones, the grim reaper, and the Phantom. According to The Australian, “Chief of Army Lt Gen Campbell on Tuesday issued the directive to the Army banning the ‘display or adoption of symbols, emblems and iconography’ which he says are ‘at odds with the army’s values and the ethical force we seek to build and sustain.” Banned symbols include the skull and cross bones, which…
