Kurt Mahlburg

Out of high school I studied architecture, lived on a remote island in Indonesia for two life-changing years, became a primary school teacher, and also spent five years as a Youth and Young Adults Pastor in the Adelaide Hills. I now work with the team at the Canberra Declaration and as a freelance writer, I contribute at the Spectator Australia among other online publications. I love speaking the truths of Jesus into the public square in a way that makes sense to a secular culture and that gives other Christians courage to do the same. Among my other interests are philosophy, history, surf, the outdoors, and travel.
