Five local counsels have decided against marking 26 January as Australia Day following debate about whether the day should be moved to a less controversial date. In response, Mark Latham and Jacintha Price have together launched the Save Australia Day campaign which will be run on radio and television. Latham has argued that 26 January has always been a vital date in Australian history:   Ill-informed Leftists are spreading the furphy that Australia Day on 26 January is a recent invention. In fact, the early settlers celebrated each 26 January anniversary and in 1818 (the 30 year anniversary) Governor Macquarie…

Dr Cathy O’Neil has envisioned a robotic utopian future where men and women coexist, but need not cohabitate. Writing for Bloomberg, O’Neil said, “If our sexual needs can be met by intimate automated helpers [sex robots], maybe we’ll end up stronger as a community.” While recent advances in sex robotic technology has been a cause of concern, particularly for women, O’Neil believes it is the men, not the women, who should be worried. It’s entirely possible that robots can outperform men… Are women not as capable as men of crude objectification? There’s room here for everyone’s impure thoughts and desires.…

Volunteers for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games are being told to use gender-neutral words to avoid causing offense. The eighty-eight page training guide says, “swapping gendered words for gender-neutral ones can make everyone feel inclusive, this also demonstrates our understanding that not everyone identifies as heterosexual or cisgender.” Gender specific titles, such as mother, father, boyfriend, girlfriend, policeman and police woman, are to be avoided and replaced with gender neutral titles, like parent, partner and police officer. The document, which was handed to 15,000 volunteers, goes on to say: “We can avoid using words like: guys, girls, ladies, gentlemen,…

John Piper once said, “The vast majority of abortions are performed between the seventh and tenth week when the baby is already sucking his thumb, recoiling from pricking, responding to sound. All his organs are present, the brain is functioning, the heart is pumping, the liver is making blood cells, the kidneys are cleaning fluids, and there is a fingerprint. His genetic code is uniquely and unquestionably human. And, if we are willing, he can be seen by ultrasound.” The following video shows amazing footage of an unborn baby moving about in utero. The footage is important to share, because…

“Do not let this one issue, and I know it’s a very powerful, strong issue, but do not let this one issue prevent you from eternity with God.” After 25 years of homosexuality, Becket said: “When I was living that gay life, and for many, many years, I was 100% sure that was my identity. I felt like I was born that way. It was my orientation; it was my identity, and I felt like it was immutable. And one of the things that also happened during that moment of conversion was I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that…

And filthy. Like, you couldn’t–there wasn’t enough soap in the world to make me feel clean. A few weeks later, I went to Walgreens and I took a pregnancy test in the bathroom… And it was positive. Israeli archaeologists have discovered a 2,700-year-old seal, validating accounts in the Bible which describe the existence of a governor in the city. The seal, unearthed near the plaza of the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem, bears an inscription in ancient Hebrew that reads, “belonging to the governor of the city.” According to the excavator, Dr Shlomit Weksler-Bdolah, the seal “supports the Biblical rendering of the existence of a governor of the city of Jerusalem 2,700 years ago.” The governor of Jerusalem is mentioned twice in the Bible, but until now no archaeological artifacts had been discovered. PragerU asks: “Should tax rates be higher? It’s the million dollar question! Up? Down? No change? Where in the world should taxes go? In election years, the question of tax rates fills the airwaves. In non-election years, the question of tax rates, again, fills the airwaves. So what’s the answer? UCLA Professor of Economics Tim Groseclose explains his research on the topic. Basically, there’s a certain point at which higher tax rates actually reduce the amount of revenue the government collects. What’s that point? When are tax rates too high? Learn a valuable lesson in economics, and public policy.”

Roy Beck, founder of NumbersUSA, offers a revealing presentation responding to the notion that mass immigration can help to reduce world poverty. How many people in the world make less than $2 per day? Here are the numbers, according to Beck: Africa: 650,000,000 India: 890,000,000 China: 480,000,000 Rest of Asia: 810,000,000 Latin America: 105,000,000 Of the 7.4 billion people on earth, there is a total of 3 billion people who make less than $2 per day. If we include those who live in countries with an average income lower than that of Mexico, there is an additional 2.6 billion, making…

“Hordes of people [are] born, who live, yet who have done absolutely nothing to advance the race one iota. Their lives are hopeless repetitions… Such human weeds clog up the path, drain up the energies and the resources of this little earth. They’re the words of a woman Hilary Clinton claims she “admires… enormously.” Barack Obama has said he is “truly grateful” to the organisation she founded. And Dinesh D’Souza…

According to new data obtained from the Treasury through Senate Estimates, the average taxpayer pays $11,427 in income tax, and almost half of that is given to welfare. Further, the fact that each taxpayer is paying $474 towards interest on our national debt once again highlights how important it is to reduce the debt burden on future generations.…
