This evening, Minus18 suggested a member of their team was the victim of Revenge Porn – that is, the “unauthorised public release of intimate images.” In a statement posted on social media, the group said: “TODAY a right-wing anti-LGBTIQ page posted a personal, nude photo that a member of our team took.” By releasing the image without consent, the group accused the offender of violating the victims privacy, in an attempt to “paint queer people [as] sinister, or corrupt…” A serious and even criminal offense, if true. Their entire statement reads as follows:

So, who was this right-wing, anti-LGBTIQ offender? The original post came from Politicalpostingmumma – a leading voice opposing the Safe Schools Coalition and the sexualisation of children. The post (without the nudity visible) can be viewed below:

Did you catch the end of that? How did Politicalpostingmumma obtain the image? “Ps. Sorry for the nudity. This was her FB profile picture. She’s obviously comfortable with it. I’m not.” The “unauthorised,” “personal,” and “intimate image” was taken from her very own, very public profile. Screenshot:

So, someone involved with Minus18, intentionally shares an inappropriate image with the public, and when she’s called out for it, she claims to be the victim of Revenge Porn? Politicalpostingmumma has since responded to Minus18’s statement. Her response can be read below:
